Best Victory:
Last round of the adepticon gladiator in 2007. I'm playing a speed freak ork army from the old codex. I played Bill Kim in the first round, and we tied, so I'm pretty much out of the scoring already, but I'd followed that up with a couple of massacres. I end up facing a Godzilla Nid army, and figure that's it, a loss to end the day.
The table has very little terrain that blocked line-of-sight, and his gunfexxes are going to destroy any of my vehicles that they shoot at. I figure my best chance is hiding my deathkopta and making a rush at the end, maybe stalling his stuff until then.
And, then everything just kinda fell into place. My opponent made crucial mistakes. He shot at buggies instead of full trukks. I got charges that he didn't think I'd get. He charged his genestealers into my boyz in cover. I'd lose 7 boyz in a vehicle wreck, only to see the three that survived kill a carnifex because the nob's still going. At the end of the game, I'd tabled him, although I think I had a total of 5 orks and a couple of vehicles left after the effort. And, that got me into the top-ten for the event.
Worst Defeat:
Last year, at the Adepticon Championships. I'm playing a mech eldar list. I've faced two other eldar lists so far and have beat them pretty soundly. I've got a really good looking army, so I've got soft-scores on my side too. For the last game, I'm playing up on one of the top tables. At I walk over, I see, from a distance, what my potential opponents have. Marines, Chaos, stuff I can beat pretty easily... and then, on the table I'm assigned to, a destroyer-based necron army.
There go any hopes I have for winning the event. It's just an unwinnable matchup for me. I've got skimmers, and he's got long-range mobile firepower that will keep them from shooting all game. As expected, I get crushed.

Worst loss:
Playing against a vry nasty knorne berserker army with my fluffy last chancers (all infantry, autocannons and HBs). Sounds bad huh?
Well we also rolled the scenario where its table quarters and we start like 18" apart.
On top of that he rolled very well for his fleet moves.
Yeah...playing gunline infantry IG and never firing a shot.
Best win:
This is from way back, when I was like 14, I went to a tourney..somewhere...I dont even remember. But this was back in 3rd when starcannons were really good.
Second game, playing a notoriously cheesey army of a notoriously poor sported player, we get a scenario where I hold a 6" x 18" box of city terrain in the middle of one table edge. She deployed on all 3 table edges, basically starting out flanking my forces from both sides.
First turn, she gives a big " WTH" when all of my forces leave the box and start rolling up one flank.
I lost one guardian, I tabled her.

my best game...
i was playing nids (right after the new dex came out) against Tau. the person that i was playing decided that it would be a good idea to sent up the full 12 inches from the table edge. i rolled amazingly on my fleet rolls and got 4 16 strong broods into combat 1st turn (i had 1st turn of the game btw). second turn, my stealers were in combat. end of his second turn, he had 1 hammerhead left. he conceded. i won, and took like 3 casualties.
not even going to go into my worst defeats. i have been tabeled too many times to count.

My greatest victory, EASILY was against my friends tuned down 'nid army and we were battling it out, my snipers in a back alley away from the fighting taking out his high pointers as they appeared and a rocket into one of the maps funnels. Then is Genestealers + Broodlord get to the side of one my tactical squads and across like 3 turns he destroys my my entire squad starts moving onto the rest of my army, my other squad and chapter master are tied up so i have to send my scouts into assault (the point was to not let 'X' amount of troops into a building. They died, pretty fast. By now his stealers are low, like 2 units left + the lord. my tactical squad breaks from the guants last turn. I shoot and ALL my bolter shots go wide except for 3 which take down the remaining stealers. Next turn he rushing in with his broodlord, he's now 1 turn away from my wounded tactical squad, I shoot, all the boltguns miss. The seargent who has a bolt pistol and chainsword fires his single shot, taking the lord down from 12" away.
Worst loss was later that night. I was on the table edge guarding the objective, i have a really good looking kill zone. Something ticked in his mind, he wasn't losing to me again. He infaltrates his genestealers, a lictor, and a ravener directly into the middle of my kill zone. They fan out and immiediately begin to rip my army to pieces as the fexxes got in range and took out my master for the final kill.... ouch.

My greatest victory was just last week, against Tau.
My Tyranids were cleaning up and holding objectives pretty well when at the beginning of turn 3 I realized:
I never put my 2 Carnifexes on the table.
I trashed a 2000 point Tau list without using my fexes and secured 4 out of the 5 objectives. It was awesome.

Greatest victory was against Tau using my old Ork horde, 2 trukks ( one loaded with a Warboss & Nobz) plus a sqaud of stormboyz hit his lines in turn 2 ,this coupled with some fairly lucky shots from a looted basilik left little for my foot sloggers to mop up when they arived.
Greatest loss was against Space Marines using Dark Eldar,I was just getting into 40K and had no idea how to use DE,as I recall by turn 3 I had been trashed and by turn 4 had only an Archon and his Incubi left on the table.

I was once defeated spectacularly, because I forgot to take two movement phases in a row with my Blood Angels army, because I was in such anticipation of shooting my dreadnought's lascannons...
I think I might have been fighting 'nids, but I cant quite remember... It was a crushing defeat for the sons of Sanguinius anyway.

One of my worst losses was to a dark eldar army versus my previous edition Blood Angels. I only lost three games with this army. I hadn't played against DE yet and their speed could match mine. The very next day I played the same exact army in the first round of the league playoffs and crushed the dark eldar.
One of my favorite victories was with the same BA list versus the last edition of SM. It was a local tournament and my opponent had the balls to deploy his terminators on one flank then in the second turn he picked them up and deep strikes them over on his other flank. I just couldn't believe he would have the balls to cheat like that. I had a huge DC led by two chaplains. The mission was the old GW RTT scenario Heavy G Doc. My DC black raged 6" and I also rolled another 6" of movement for the gravity table. Add in a 12" jump pack move plus 6" for the charge. I took out his Master, chaplain leading his jump pack squad plus the terminators on the charge. He was totally gutted and immediately conceded the game.

worst loss: got to be when i tried my salamanders against my friends long suffering guard, an all tank marine army last 3 turns

Best win I ever had was in WHFB It was a 2000pt game and was the first time I got to use a slaan here's the battle report.
Roll for Turn,
I win! I choose to go first!
My Turn 1
Movement:
Move all my little Dinosaurs....
Shooting:
None
Magic:
Zap-Zap! Cast some lighting with minimal wounds
Cast comet of casandora with irrisitable force right on the middle of his line of archers.
His turn 1
Roll for comet..... "6"
Roll for comet damage... "6"
Roll roll leader ship test... "10"
Flee off the board
Roll for panic on the units around him... "9,11,10,10, ect."
Every single unit he had ran off the board.... it was amazing
so to be a good sport we called it a freak accident and re-set up his units minus one dispel scroll.

Greatest win:
My chaos vs IG and Orks
A long time ago (back when strategy cards were used) I got the one that allows a unit to outflank. I put it on my beserkers led by Kharn (I should also point out that at this time I had yet to win a game since the table length was his lounge floor...conveniently long enough for his basilisk to shoot into my deployment zone and nothing else could). We played annihilation with no turn limit. I get first turn, Kharn shows up and butchers his way through a squad of IG, then consolidates into a fresh squad. His turn I mangle them all and consolidate into the basilisk. 5 bikers turn around to shoot (4+ to hit my guy...very old rules), blows up the basilisk, flips onto his bikers. Orks and IG concede
Worst loss:
My first game in 5th using tau (an army designed to pummel SM (which it did very well) and not much else and I face orks. Wiped out on turn 3.

Wost loss: Was playing a 1500 point game against the new space marines with my Dark Angels Plasma heavy army. It was 5th turn and I had wiped out all of his troops except for 3 men in a scout squad hanging onto his last objective. His terminators had shot the last of my long range Plasma so I run my tactical squad towards his scouts, fire pistols, then assault and wipe out the last three terminators and consolidate towards his scouts. His turn, he fires his vindicator at my tac squad but it scatters onto itself and immobilizes it. Returns fire with his scouts and calls it a day. My turn, I get close enough to contest the objective than assault his scouts. Kill two and then they run away with out killing anyone in return. I have 8 tc marines scrunched up on the objective planting the flag and congratulation themselves on a job well done.
Remember that vindicator? Well its fired at my own scout squad which had advanced close enough in an attempt to blow the damn thing up more for kicks than anything else. Anyways, he fires, misses, scatters.... Right onto my entire squad of tacticals killing all of them. His last scout after it rallied runs back to the objective and I lose the game.... sigh.

Greatest Loss in 40k was pr'bly last Wednsday. Seize ground (5 objectives) and spearhead, 'Nids vs. Marines.
It was an Awsome game. Here are some Highlights:
1) The Vindicator Fired on my 'Fex, scattered, hit a Dread' and 2 Termagants. He rolled Snakes eyes for the Termagants, and caused his Dready to explode.
2) He outflanked with his scouts, grabbed an objective out of the way of the main charge, only to have my Lictor arrive and Massacare them.
3) My Carny tearing through His Master of the Forge, 2 Servitors, and a Venerable Dread'. It was reduced to 1 wound, then shot in the face by a Vindicator shell (Taps playing)
4) My WoN Termagants returning, then passing a Synapse test, right when I did not need it.
5)My force being poised to rip him appart in turn 6... only to roll a 2 at the end of turn 5. 1-0 loss for me.

My greatest win was actually by only 5 VP's. (3,000 pts per side) It was back in 2nd ed, my Eldar against generic Marines. A great lot of my troops were slaughtered, but in the last three turns, Jain Zar and her Banshee unit killed two dreadnoughts and an entire terminator-armored command unit including the commander, chaplain and librarian, and I didn't lose any characters. I consider it a meaningful victory because of that most shocking display of assassination.

I had a dream last night that I was playing Mech Eldar with allied SM vs. a badly painted Smurf army made up of Scouts with four heavy bolters in each squad. For some reason I think I deployed halfway across the table and forgot to deploy my Grav-Tanks... but I was drunk. My absolute worst game to date was my second 5th ed. game. Table corners, killspoints, me with rhino/assault marines vs. Death Guard camping in cover. My command squad got defiler-battlecannoned on the first turn, and all died except for my Captain and a missile launcher. I didn't cause a single wound until the third turn.. My 10-man jump assault squad with chaplain made it into combat unscathed (rolling a 6 to charge into cover -woo!) but failed to kill any plague marines. My two other assault squads in rhinos accounted for maybe three plaguemarine deaths, and I didn't even get close to the obliterators and defiler in the back. Typhus and five more terminators rocked along to clean me up. My best game was a 2000 point Skaven gam four or five years ago. My plague monks and rat swarms didn't seem to know how NOT to wound, and I tabled an orc horde by the end of his third round. I had a recent game of Mech Eldar vs. No-Mech Daemonhunters, where I lost appproximately two Dire Avengers and a weapon from one of my Wave Serpents... but that was hardly a match. It was more like scissors vs. paper. Doom/Guide/Bladestorming 10 GKs into oblivion the turn they deepstruck was pretty satisfying though. As far as entertainment goes, though, closely matched games are far more enjoyable, and win or lose, I prefer when the outcome isn't obvious by halfway through the game.

my worst warhammer related loss ....
k, i always loved how 12 sentinels look on table for my imperial guard army, so i bought them to try it out.
First game i played with them was against a space marine player. If my memory didnt fail me, all 12 sentinels
died by turn 3 shooting, and i only killed 4 marines.
Thats the last time i field them :"P

Worst defeat. Half a turn.
Playing CoD, the mission where you have to hold a building. I deploy 2 troop options inside with the medic equipment stratagem. My opponent ( DA) deploys his entire army, wins 1st turn and shoots everything and then assaults the survivors who buckle. My 1st turn, even fleeting 6 inches my reserves are 1 inch short of the objective. As the winning condition is to have 1 uncontested unit on top of the objective I don´t even bother to play my 1st turn

Well, considering I've only played 2 games, I guess I don't have many options... but, boy, what a loss do I have for you guys. It's not exactly a horrible loss, so much as an incredibly close one.
Anyway, my Grey Knights against his Daemons. Now, before I go on, I'm going to say that there were a few rules mistakes made by my opponents. To be fair, no one at my LGS has ever really played against DH, so I let it slide. This was my first game, and I didn't want to worry about the nitpicky things when my biggest goal was learning the game. Even though I would have won had all the rules been properly followed... ANYWAY!
It was only 750 points, so I had a Grand Master with Psycannon, 5 terminator retinue, and 2 5-man units of PAGKs, one unit had 2 incinerators. He had a full unit of Plaguebearers(I think it was... around 15-16 of them, if I remember correctly), 5 Daemonettes, 5 Nurglings, and 2 units of 3 flamers, They were all led by The Masque. The game was Dawn of War, annihilation.
He gets first turn, and deploys his flamers right behind my terminators, and pretty much knocks out half of the unit. Other then that, things were pretty unremarkable. Over time, I kept tearing down his daemon units, however, Daemonic infestation kept bringing them all back (this rule should not be in effect anymore, however). This was fine, as it was simply extra killpoints for me. However, over time, things started to wear down. I had over 10 killpoints, which was more then enough to win. All I had to do was survive the next few turns. Then, things go down the gakker. The plaguebearers finally reach combat, and devestate the PAGKs, flamers destroy the second unit. The last two terminators are all destroyed by The Masque.
I'm left with one Grand Master.
My Grand Master kills the Masque in combat(it took forever, because the people at the GW didn't think that the GM's NFW is able to ignore instant kill restrictions, which it is able to). However, it's too late. The respawned Daemonettes deepstrike right beside the Grand Master, with no scatter. The plaguebearers cover the front, and the Nurglings respawn right behind him.
I'm surrounded on all sides by over 20 daemons, with only one Grand Master left. He manages to wipe out the Daemonettes, and survive the entire assault for a full turn. Last turn. Just need to survive this, and I win. He survives against the plaguebearers, not taking a single wound. The nurglings attack... 2 unsaved wounds... dead GM.
And I lost. A Grand Master killed by nurglings... NURGLINGS!
To be fair, it was an awesome loss, because one Grand Master was able to take on so many enemies at once for so long.

Such an accomplishment, imagine my jealousy. :S
Anyway, my greatest accomplishment was probably the last game I played, which was my LatD with my friends as Tzeentch and Nurgle respectively, versus my other two friends' Space Wolves and Dark Angels.
My mutants were the stars, annihilating an assault termi squad, and the other rushing for an objective and grabbing it. My Leman Russes blew the Wolves to smithereens.
In all I lost around 7 models...all of them Mutants with the Mark of Khorne. Nurgle was hit pretty hard and Tzeentch did okay, but in the end Khorne was the greatest of all 3...as it should always be.

In one tournament I was paying Tau, I was playing against this kid playing Orks. I tabled him without losing a single model. He was new to the game and I felt bad about it so I gave him some tips after the game.
That being said, my friend (Khorne CSM) played against him later and he tabled the kid too, though he lost a few models. A champion to possession and a few dudes to a frenzied Dread.
My greatest loss was being Phased Out as Necrons to Orks. Was using Deceiver and some Pariahs so my actual Necron count was low. Deceiver never saw combat and his Deceive power didn't work with mob checks. I didn't actually kill much either.

He always took 6 minor Slaanesh powers to get "Sirens"....he failed to get it! He had one Lieutenant with Wings/infiltrrate (YA for 1st turn charge vs IG!) and the rest was Demons (typical Demon Bomb).
He got 1st turn (YA.....) and assaulted an infantry squad. No frag grenades? Cool I get to swing first. HA! They wounded him, he kilss 3 guys.
My turn, I assault with a Techpriest and servitors, he's intimidated by their power fists/weapons and strikes at them, the Infantry guys end up wounding him, killing him. No Demons can drop due to no Icons.
Game over, 1st Turn Massacre for the Guard...in CLOSE COMBAT no less!

GW didn't mean to hit your wallet and I know they love you, baby. I'm sure they won't do it again so it's ok to purchase and make up.

Well I had a dream last night that I was exploring the Horizontal forests of Kuala Lumpur

My greatest loss will probably be tomorrow when I play WHFB daemons vs Dwarfs and High Elves, The Elf player is a WHFB virgin but the dwarf guy is adept at tabling me
