As work continues on the Legion and yet another 40k army, I've decided to sell off some of my older armies. I desperately need space, and storing armies away from sight, with very little use, is not what I want for them.

Here are a few pics. As in the past, I'm hoping to find new homes, where the models get frequent action rather than max out on ebay. I've sold two armies in the past through Dakka to very satisfied new homes in US and Portugal. Now I have 4!! forces to sell. A super effective Space Marine army, 3000pts of TAU, with new snow bases and weathering, a Cadian Continent of IG that just isn't compatible with Rhisienne basing and a small but very carefully painted Eldar Force.

Not the storm jackals! I remember you painting these a long time ago (unless I'm mistaken) and I followed the thread before getting out of the hobby and coming back. I was very impressed by them!

Incredible armies... if this was the fall I'd have the cash and be able to make an offer, but unfortunately I'm waiting for my teaching job to begin and so there's not much in the way of pay at the moment (doing a crash-course training and residency program since I'm switching careers). At least I can drool over them for now

I asked you for a list of the Eldar and pics via email but got no response. I also asked for a ballpark price. I'm still interested.

Everything is still vailable. I've had two deals fall to the bloody exchange rate. In terms of practical value we are totally on the same page, but currently 1€ is like 0.7 USD, so I take 30% in the face.

There's a TON of stuff in it.

I've also updated the paint job with chipping effects and snow effect basing.

In the army is roughly:


2 Command suits
Ethereal
5 Crisis suits
5 Stealth suits
3 squads of 12 FW
1 squad of 8 FW
12 Kroot
2 squads of 8 Pathfinders
Hammerhead
Devilfsh
4! Broadsides
8 Drones
and 10! Shield Drones for the suit units.

I think 2500+ pts.

I've never regretted selling any of my previous armies either. And there have been "fond" ones like the Iron Warriors that took me 7th overall in the UK GT finals years ago. For artist/designer types, it's always the project that they are working on that is the most interesting and fun

I am still in the midst of my "broke-ness" for the summer... I'm sure these would have been gone long ago if not for the exchange rate issues!

The Marines are now gone - but the IG back on the market. The buyer I had made a deal with was suddenly "in no position to pay"

Like it was said the exchange rate is the problem and ebay for 40k isn't a huge market in Europe. The Marines went to the Eurozone, and I've had quotations that I would accept for all the armies, if it wasn't for the 30% hit in the exchange rate.
