Right me and a friend are having a row about whos tanks, ships, skimmers, transport, walkers, basiccaly any type of vehicle look cooler. As a tau player i think the tau vehicles are amazing and look great. My friend stubbornly dissagrees and thing that eldar look the nicest. To the complicate matters another friend said we were both wrong and said that space marines looked the best. To settle this we decided to put a poll up...

I can see where you are coming from, but you have just got to love the tau, they really do look so cool.

While I love the Tau tanks the eldar tanks are sweet.

Eldar vehicles look super sleek. Very clean lines.

Eldar. Psychic bone plastic tank things own you all!

Except Chaos tanks. The spikiness destroys both your army and any hope of transporting them undamaged.

You are all wrong, the best looking vehicle is clearly the old deodorant bottle land speeder from Rogue Trader. Since then, the design of GW vehicles has gone steadily downhill.

Ozymandias is, of course, correct. Does not get better than that grav-tank.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Orks are a clear winner in this poll, but sadly they have been omitted.

But Ill admit, that Eldar grav tank does look great.... as a looted wagon.

I voted Eldar, I love the Tau, but for just vehicles I think that the works based on all of Jes Goodwins designs over the years have the most distinctive, majestic and awesome collective appearance of any sci fi alien race.

Probably ever.

Furthermore they also have all the old epic vehicles as well, including models for knights and titans. They are just the best... (Tau are too new to compete with that.)

+1 Augustus.

Jes Goodwin's work more defines the game for me than any 7 spiky-skull-encrusted gothic/baroque flying/trundling cathedral.

I was thinking tau.... but if we are including all vehicles then unfortunately i have to choose marines if only for the forge world venerable dreads.

I'm gonna say SM, simply because they look so rugged and tough. They look like they could survive a nuclear explosion, they're so cool!!

As far as this poll goes Im with the Tau. I just LOVE the look of everything they have.

Other then this poll, I think IG baneblades are just the baddest mofoes out there, PERIOD. My god that tank is just seriouis business. Then after that anything from Orks is all awesome with me. Sure it might fall apart and explode, but dammit Ork vehicles are the best!

I voted Marines. I love Imperial Tanks in general (Excluding Russ guns- WAY too big). I can't get enough of church-tanks.

I am contractually forbidden to ever acknowledging that the Tau are good at anything so despite my love of the Hammerhead's aesthetics, I voted Space Marines simply because the Land Raider is so awesome.

Do the suits of the Tau count as a vehicle, even though they don't have AV of course. They do ride in them! I think suits make the Tau some sexy beasts

My vote ges to SM simply because I'm still giddy over the GW dropship models. Both tau and eldar skimmers look great to me when I drop down and open up with some melta goodness. The big plumes of smoke and fire are the best.

For me, Eldar > Space Marines > Tau.

I prefer the aesthetic of the Eldar, and their concepts and scuplts are really cool. Vehicles are super nice. The Falcon Chassis is one of the best sculpts there is, and the Vypers look great.

Space Marines are very different in looks (though both 'high tech' in a way). They also look good, but the Eldar edge them out for me.

The Tau are bogged down by awful looking battlesuits. Firewarriors are nice designs, but the suit look clunky (and not in a good Space Marine way) and... well kind of shocking really on how bad they look. The tanks are ok, but not as nice as the Eldar ones and are pretty different to the Space Marine ones.

Also, Some of the guard forgeworld kits are beauties. (And I still like the plain old Leman)

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

The Falcon chasis is getting kind of old already but THANK YOU Mr. Forgeworld.
