I'm still quite new to the hobby, but one things I do notice is how the games workshop let twelve year olds and younger kids play. I know that they have to let them play but it's annoying how they boast about how they have the best army...ultra-marines...and they don't play properly and ruin the whole gaming experience. Plus it's really embarrising watching some toddler walk in the shop, look at the models and say that 'they look way cool' because then it makes warhammer not look cool at at all. One last final point is how they basically ruin perfectly good models because they broduce them from their over-sized bag and it is usally half painted with the detail obscured and no attempt to fix on broken bits, and over-all poorly assembled.

Hey, leave the kids alone! If you think they're idiots or bad painters, try educating them.
Gah, curse Imageshack! I can't upload my IBTL images.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
What the **** is the point of even tralking about this? Some kids aren't very good painters, some adults aren't very good painters. Some kids aren't very good gamers, some adults aren't very good gamers. So what? Why would ANYONE actually post this? I don't know.
And man, don't judge the kids, for all you know, that's what they say about you, so...

92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your sig.
Yeah, I can't see this ending well but hey, it is worth a shot I guess.
I recommend finding a new hobby if you can't deal with kids, because it is only bound to get more infested . I think a lot of gamers could benefit from being a role-model in some sense, and there are more than enough aspects to war-gaming to teach something new to someone.
Kids are people too man, and you should remember that most of them have at least one angry parent ready to bit your head off if you feel like being mean to the grubs.

What are you, like, 16? Once you've been around a while, you will learn that, sadly, the annoying behaviours you identify are not solely the province of the twelve-and-younger set. I know people in their fifties who exhibit some or all of those attributes.
He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
Well, you start a pointless hate thread, what do you expect?

This is, as you've found out the hard way, a touchy subject.
But... GW will ALWAYS let anyone into the store as they are potential customers. Even if an age identifying force field were invented, they wouldn't use it as they need the money from these people.
If you want a more mature environment try to find a local gaming club maybe?

Because he's 14 and he wants to look cooler to the grown-up crowd by putting down the children who are obviously beneath him.

So now that your 13 the twelve and under crowd bothers you...
And I hate to break it to you but wargaming ISN'T cool. Never was, never will be...
You are a nerd (Newsflash: we all are). Accept it, and learn to accept other people that share your love of nerddom instead of hating on people from a glass house...
Those 12 year olds are this games future too, give em' a few years and they'll work out fine. When you have a niche hobby such as this it's already difficult enough to get people involved. I would much rather have more people to play against than less.

Clearly your mental age is so old it's getting decrepit.
