So... humans can be drawn to a Waaagh? How would the Orks react to this? Surely more Boyz iz good, but would they tolerate da 'umies if the Waaagh! drew them there?

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Never noticed that in the Witch hunter Codex, damn I should read more closely.

Well perhaps if it was a Blood axe Waaaggh! otherwise perhaps the boyz use the 'umies for practice before they get to the real fight.

Oh, scenarios.

Could depend on the grasp the "weird-boss" has on his minions.

-if he got total control, all his "followers" may do as he wishes. Orks may unwillingly accept the not-so-green boys.
-if he just got some control over the humans, he may use this to gather them as workers. Orks do use enslaved humans.
The boyz may not question how he got them.
-if he doesnt has enough control over da boyz, they would have some fun with the new recruts.

Orks always have a nice proposition , help them produce weapons / munitions or be destroyed.

You can say thats psychic power goodness or

simple black mail.

Or... Someone was really struggling to involve orks on that page of reasons why WHs would attack the various other armies and races of 40k, instead of just writing 'cos they aren't in the church of the emprah'...

I dunno MGS, I think that the Orky psychic consciousness could certainly impact on humans just as much as Chaos could. Particularly warlike cultures, such as Attilans or Ogryns, might be easily lured.

They could use them like the gretchin seeing how they see humans as being weak. But, they could also respect them, that will most likely happen if the Orks like the weapons they have. Not the Lasguns, the Death Strike missiles and Demo cannons. They would most likely just kill them and take those weapons though.

That section is all pretty meaningless. I want to see a list of reasons why the Sisters would not fry you!

Chaos - er, they are Chaos!
Any Xenos - they are xenos skum.
Space Marines - ab-humans
Guard - they either are or know ab-humans, or at the very least dared to deploy opposite the Sisters.

Section done. Perhaps I could get employment at Games Workshop...

I think that this tidbit is a really good idea actually.

This piece of fluff might not apply anymore but back in the days of Gorkamorka there were several primitive humans who joined the orks and called themselves Diggas.

I agree with Imperial. The witch hunters codex is one of the older codices. Not all of the fluff in it may still apply. This humans in the Waaagh idea seems like one of the far-fetched fluff bits that GW would have scrapped.

Don't let what I said discourage anyone from imaginative army ideas though, I'd love to see a bunch of orky human models on the table.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

The Armageddon Ork Hunters became very orklike due to fighting against the orks for so long.

It's not impossible for humans to get caught up in Waaagh! fever, although I wouldn't think it's particularly common.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

maybe you take some humans (basic imperial guards units) as penal troops who say every turn on a roll of 6 turn against their masters and have to attack them then at end of shooting phase or if no one is in range they would kill themselves to stop their imprisonment

While I LOL much at this thread, to be serious I doubt the humies would fight side-by-side with orksies, instead they would simply became increasingly agitated to the point where they act like beserkers and attack anyone in sight.

They do. Nazdreg levied a whole bunch of human slaves too.

Depends on the klan for the orks, I think. For the humans, it mostly depends on how much propaganda they were fed/what their living conditions were prior. After all, living under orks generally isn't any worse than living under chaos. A lot of the time it would be about the same as working for the Imperium.

At least Chaos warps your mind to make you think that that is what you want, though.

True. And chaos is probably scarier to rebel against as well.

The Orks aren't vile and sadistic like Chaos Marines are though. They'd probably leave any human civilians under their rule alone most of the time.

It's a defining trait of Orks that they will attack anything whatsoever just because it's there.

not exactly, they don't attack rocks and mountains because they're there. Orks, by definition, will fight 'because their opponent will fight back'. And if they could, but don't, they'll kill 'em for bein' weak!

The thing is, just because humans are drawn to the Waaagh! doesn't mean the orks don't kill them when they get there.
