Nah, orks only kill ya if it'll be good for a laugh. Once you've killed a few humie slaves, it's not as much fun. And anyway, the Runtherds will probably put a slug through yer noggin for messing with the stock.

Orks like killing and conquering. Whether or not they'll be looking for slaves or choppin' practice generally comes down to the orks in question (and the klan they hail from).

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

Yeah, Goffs wouldn't care much for humans hanging around, but I think that Mekboys, Bad Moons and Deathskulls would have uses for them.
|
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I don't know about Deathskulls. I think the Klan rules mentioned Deathskulls killing every human they found and taking whatever stuff they had on them. They might be too interested in stealing and looting to actively force humans to produce additional equipment for them.
Blood Axes would put them to work though, definitely.

Bad Moons always need more runts to carry dakka around and clean their flash, I s'pose. But yeah, Blood Axes would have a lot of use for humans as labourers, fighters, and advisors.

There were humans that actively worshipped orks back in Gorkamorka. I think they were called he Diggas. Feral humans who saw orks and the tech they possessed as godlike.

It is also worth remembering that Ogryn used to fight along side orks back in the day, with the orks respecting them because they were so big and tough.
Which opens up another interesting direction: have orks ever been noted as fighting for other races? Daemon Prince Curbstomp lands on an ork world, challenges the warboss to single combat and wins, then smashes down the next 10-100 nobs in line... is it feasible he could command the relative obediance of the ork's remaining?

A Deamon taking over is unlikely as orks would never bow to a non-greenskin, plus warp stuff is creepy even to them, the deamon prince would probalm have to cut through the entire planent to get them to even considr it.

Wait, so people are admitting that fluff becomes outdated? So I can mix/match Chaos gods without feeling as though I'm committing the unforgivable sin? Oh, glorious day! Thank you, oh, high ones!

I recall reading in a WD several years ago that life for human civilians who happen to find themselves under Ork domination is rather unpleasent, forced labor, brutal beatings admisterd with little or no provication, being used as test subjects by Maddokz and Mekboyz, even having bets placed on their survival if pitted against a pack of hungry squigs, dosn't sound very benevolent to me.
