What do dakkites eat when they can't be bothered cooking a full meal?

I just had a quite excellent Bacon, Potato and Parmesan Omlette for dinner, and I may chas that with a bowl of two minute noodles later.

About to eat your Avatar...

I try to eat a lot of veggies, but it is pretty hard to actually accomplish, especially on a busy day. I heard of cafe-style salad bars being opened in New York (and elsewhere I am sure), and that sounds like a much better lunch than the damn packaged stuff.

I eat a lot of sandwiches though, but salad is better... at any rate BBQ TOMORROW!!! MEAT!!! . Gotta love some grease sometimes man.

You eat vegans? Is that even legal?

OP: Man, it depends. Last night it was veal parm. I do a mean chili with country style cornbread. I love me some deli sandwiches. Favorite meal is breakfast: grits, eggs, bacon, ham, milk. I cook all the time, the rosemary parm lambchops are great.

Save a cow, eat a vegetarian.

Griz: Veal Parm. Been a long time since I had one of those.
Also; What are Grits?

Waaagh_Gonads: Sounds like cookie dough, only runnier, and without the choc chips

Good Answers everyone (almost), Keep them coming

Veal Parm is what you cook when you don't have time to make a meal? What are your normal meals? Seven course Italian dinners?

Aye I often dine on that while at work, micro chips mind, no oven here at the store.

One advantage of being on the night shift and also crossing the dinner period means I can grab whatever for dinner, family owned store also means I don't need to pay, or rather petty cash covers me.

Got the new Rustlers Meatball sandwich in next week (well new for us) looking forward to it.

My local supermarkets sell little bitty TV dinners for $1. 4 minutes in the microwave and it's done. I buy a few of every different type and randomly grab one when I'm hungry. They're not the greatest but they're okay and couldn't be any easier.

By the way, don't eat vegans, they're not as healthy as they seem and you don't want to catch anything in case you don't cook them well enough. Feed them to your pigs instead.

When I go out to eat, I prefer to get some kind of loaded nachos, a sampler plate, or pizza.

I try to eat a little bit of vegan at every meal. I do try to switch up what kind of vegan though, all chicken in a day does get monotonous.

I've only had grits once and now I can barely stand the very thought of them.

I do however love to cook, when I have the time,I enjoy making traditional New Orleans food (Gumbo, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, jambalaya)when ever I can.
However,my girlfriend dosn't know how to cook these dishes,so alot of the time I eat a lot of chicken and rice.
We also get a load of chinesse take out (probly more than we should)

I usually dine on cheerios or cereal. Lacking that my father taught me a nifty trick. Take some saltines and put em in a bowl, pour milk in the bowl and add sugar for a poor man's breakfast cereal.
