i am starting an ig army, that are like city fighters
some fluff will follow in future post
i might even post some batreps

so first of some pics

the theme is urban warfare The 17 khazak makes use of trained veterans of dozens of campaigns in cities. The regiment is always supported by elements of the 701st Khazak armored regiment " Iron Eaters ".

as i said before more fluff will follow

The colour scheme looks nice from what I can see of it. You should try and take some better pics. Do you have the camera on close up mode?

Try and theme your nickname around the army's theme. For instance, my regiment is the "Flying Fifteens", due to their airborne status.

With a CoD, try to find some stratagems you like the look of; Sewer Rats--> Skulkin' Sixteenth
Master snipers--> Sure-eyed Seventh
Etc.

I like the Stormtroopers. Their color scheme is basically what I use on the Scouts of my Crimson Lions Space Marines. I think my Grey may be a bit darker but otherwise it appears to be a match.

I really can't see anything in your pics. Are you taking them with a cellphone? Try and make a decent digital camera your next purchase. Make sure it has a close up with auto-focus option (most do).

The colour scheme sort of reminds me of the old Redcoat uniforms from the colonial era, not that it's a bad thing. I actually think it looks pretty good.

The Blood Drenched 17th......
Both came to mind due to the shade of red you've been using. I'd also recommend the Dakka article on photographing your miniatures a white box would make it much easier to concentrate and focus on the model rather than the background....

Right time for some fluff

Trooper Faran Ran to the window as the traitor pdf forces stormed the building were Faras and his platoon were stationed. He saw the bastards rushing toward the already blown out doorway. He shot some of the traitors with his sniper rifle. seconds later he saw the enemy entering the building.
"Fix Bayonets !"
shouted the platoon commander over the vox link.
It was already too late for that as he saw a heretic entering the room were he was stationed. He quickly threw away his sniper rifle and drew his long combat knife. It was a finely forged and detailed knife with the sign of the aquila on the blade. it wasn't a standard knife , it was a knife given by General Orker. He quikly sliced the heretic throat open, blood flushing on his his camouflaged greatcoat. As he fell, another heretic entered the room; He slapped him with the butt of his knife, then pushing it deep in his chest. Suddenly he felt a stinging pain in his stomach. He looked down and saw a long rusty blade sticking out of his belly. As the traitor pulled out his blood soaked sword, Faran turned, looking the traitor in his eyes. Faran fell to the ground. a poem suddenly jumped up in his mind

"Soaked in blood as I lay dying
drowned in the thick red fluid
which was supposed to keep me alive
now making sure I will not breathe again

Slaughtered but still trying
to find that little bit of air
which can help me ask for vengeance
when my brethren come to seek me

The sky is getting dark as I feel cold
half frozen inside, can't feel my limbs
fighting for breath, my last hope
as the sword pierces my heart

Thoughts of doom running through me
seeing the world die for my eyes
as I feel my soul leaving the corpse
which used to let me wander this earth"

Faran knew no more.

And then an air strike flattened the building.......

That would ruin the story

Thats an impressive poem to just jump into your mind! Now I've never been fatally stabbed, but I'm pretty sure my brain would only come up with "OW! Who did tha-"

Nickname for your regiment? well, You being from belgium, and the dominant colour on your regiment is red, my vote goes for "De Roode Duivels" or, translated to english, "The Red Devils".

Nice work there. I really like the contrast between the red fatigues and grey armour on the stormtroopers. Just one question though, how are you going to base them? Ash wastes, urban or something totally different?
