So I'm going to start making a Ork Fortress but its Flying. I was just going to make a fortress but why not a flying one and it would be great for Apocalypse
I going to start making it to day and will do updates as soon as I can, and ideas are welcome

It is not a Zeppelin it is a movable fortress just to get that straighten thing out

well hear are the updates just some pic's of what I've done so far, I'll be doing more today

this is the first cut out

This is after I put in sum more detail and a size of a Ork on it

I just put the Jet's on it I'm steal puting more detail into it

Just finished putting the tower on and added a PVC pipe to the middle so the board won't sage and the can is a gas tank

This is after putting the tower on I added some cat walks. So some of the Orks can shoot off it and I know it sucks now but after I'm done it will be awesome, well thats the plan at least.

Here's the pipe holding up the board so it wouldn't sage and its connected to the gas tank.

This is the gas tank need to add some more to it.

Is it going to be very mobile, or more of a hovering fortress? When ever I think of a flying fortress I think of Mario and those huge bullets.

I'm going fore guns and turetts everywere but it could change like I said, go with the flow.

So I got around to geting more stuff done so I put some guns and some upgrades to the gas tank

So I put the guns on a giant Ork face

Yes, make a KFF and all the other wierd mek things.
add lots of mek grubbins and know-wots, O idea giant shokk attack gun that fires attack squigs. And add some unnessicary things like more than enough guns, more than enough gadgets (be sure to give it power fields), and more than enough thruster or gas balloons or helicopter blade or whatever you use to keep it up.

You might want to check out Deff Skwadron for some ork plane ideas. I remember there was a flying fortress that looked like a giant ramshackle version of the military transport planes.

I would suggest a supa-rokkit launch pad or something similar. Other than that Im not too sure yet... Ill have to wait and see more before I make my decision on the scale of epicness

I would suggest making it to where you cna land/repair small air vehicles (Deffkoptas, maybe a fighta).

Putting bombs on this would work too, and would give it some more tank popping abilities.

Try and research the 'Flying Fortress' of the second world war, It had massive cannons on the front. along with machine guns on each side that cousl take down other flyers. That alongside the ability to transport some troops will add some destructive force along with it.

Making some kustome Grot fightas as escorts would give the air of a self-sufficient fortress, and depending on the klan youre from, you could give it different looks, like, if you were from the snakebites, you could make it look like a castle from old.

I would say making it lok like a Rok would also fit the ork psyke. You have to field this with a Green Tide below it, what would be unstoppable.
