I sware to god that I am acting like a battered spouse by watching KC Chiefs games every Sunday. They get your hopes up by winning or getting really closes and then SMACK! The honeymoon is done, do the dishes  ! Anyone else feel like this watching them?
OMG! the announcer just said that, "The only good news for the Chiefs is that they are only three touchdowns from the lead." Please let this season end soon.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". How are the 49ers doing these days? I watched them get thrashed by the Eagles once. In one entertaining moment, the 49ers dropped the ball just on the edge of The Eagles' End Zone (is that the right term?). An Eagles player grabbed it and ran the entire length of the pitch unchallenged for a touchdown. Most amusing 
EDIT - It's what their fans deserve really, as they have the crappest supporters chant in the world - "Let's go niners" Repeat until any English people unfortunate enough to be in the stadium are thoroughly hacked off.

I totally understand. The only time I've ever been to arrowhead was to see Metallica and Guns-N-Roses, and even that was a disappointment. If it weren't for Monday 40K night at Tabletop, I would totally move.

Even our cheerleaders look over used, college drop out, soccer moms. Alot of butterfaces. I think I have seen dayshift strippers that look better than them.

Ouch,yes I painfully recall the days of Bobby "The Cajun Cannon " Herbert & the paper bags,even now it stings.
Honestly,as much as I've always wanted to be able to,I never thought I'd be able to say "Saints" and "Undefeated" (this far into the season) in the same sentance.

I swear that I think I have seen JV games played better than what the Chiefs did today. It was painful to watch. Even the announcers wanted to change to other games. Everytime the ball was down they would switch to another game real quick and then come back just in time to see the snap. I don;t mind the Chiefs losing as long as it was a good close game but this. It was a just a stright on curb stomping. By the end of the third you could count the amount of fans in the stands from the blimp.

There's been talk of moving the Chiefs to Canada. Not much, its just the kind of thing that always seems to pop up when other struggling franchises (primarily Buffalo) discuss a move.

Manning's still the best QB in football, much as it galls me. Brees is making a case, but he hasn't been sustaining the awesome as long. Favre is having the season of his career. That doesn't outweigh being a pick delivery machine for a lot of his career.
No offense to the poor Buc, Lion, Chiefs (etc.) fans, but I just wish my Patriots were performing a bit better. Man, they are just not doing it this season.
Speaking as a Pats fan, most of us are aware that their amazing successes of the last decade are not really representative of the team (which has classically been mediocre at best), but we've sure been enjoying it while it lasted. We're used to Tom being a second-rate quarterback, not as great in the numbers as Payton Manning, but uber-reliable in the clutch, and having a hardnosed defense and smart coach. Losing that tight game to Indy because our defense collapsed and we had to make a risky 4th down play hurt more than the shallacking by NO. I'd rather see NO go undefeated and/or win the SB than Indy, just because NO hasn't been there before, and I don't hate them like I hate Indy. 
This year and the last two have been so weird. First we have that crazy semi-perfect season on the strength of a suddenly ridiculous offense, then Tom's off season, and now we're making bad play calls and losing on defense, while leaning too-heavily on our sudden "star player" QB & WRs. It's gotten too far away from what it should be- smart play, in all phases, with no real "stars".
