I picked up a Blackhawk SERPA holster last week. Love the trigger lock design that allows me to unlock it during a draw with my trigger finger instead of the akwardness of using my thumb first. A much smoother draw.

I don't like the high riders like that. Its going to go right into your ribs. You'd have to carry a small pistol to be comfortable methinks.

Puh, Comp-Tac wipes its butt with those holsters.

Very good leather.

If I haven't got that on me, I'm using a ten dollar Uncle Mikes holster around the house. The belt clip, rather than a loop, is very convenient for around-the-house pajama carry.

you know, I rather thought that it would drag down your pants, but I was wrong.

Also, I decided to just get the holster for my 10-7. I'll carry it around, don't want to wait to get a Bersa...

You know you really need a proper belt. I'd view a proper belt as significantly more important than the holster. There are several on the market, some with kydex strips. I found the simple double strap sewn belt can't be beat.

Truthfully I hate gun belts as often they pull at the hips what not. Personally I am a leg holster man, but I think this comes from the army side of me where all of that stuff is leg harnessed!

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

For me, the belt looped HNH leather fits just right, plus they loop through the belt instead of clipping on.

Agreed on the belt, I have a 1 1/2 notched leather belt, it's the foundation of carrying.

I'm a fan of open carry as well, but I'm kind of picky when I do it. For instance, I don't like standing in a shopping line OCing, it's a 'having people behind you and within arms reach of your sidearm' thing. I don't judge others about their carry habbits, but that's one of my no-go's.

I tend to 'casual' carry often, which involves a full size gun, OWB, with a loose unzipped cover garmet. In NM, I'm breaking no laws doing this, (With the exception of some dracoinian OC laws related to Alchohol purchase for off-sight consumtion, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms). So I tend to be 'exposed' a small amount that only the very observent might pick up on.

I have a Blackhawk for my FNH FiveseveN as well, while I agree with you about the draw, I find the holster holds the gun too far off my body to 'casual' carry without some printing. And the 'paddle' attackment doesn't secure tight enough, while the 'loop' attachment doesn't distribute the weapons weight evenly enough (for me)

But the single point retention release button is genius.

Seals aren't the best we have despite what the populace, and many movies believe. Delta is the money makers, but doesn't matter as all modern day special forces date from S.A.S. Also southerners int he states don't like being called yanks or yankees since the Civil War. They are Johny Reb! and the North is Billy Yank!

The south is just sore about losing the Civil War. They got a good and proper nose breaking and they can't handle it.

If civil war broke out again the North would win. We'd just draw you lot up into the Dakotas and Mn and let the cold weather do it's work.

We jump in the lakes in mid-january to raise money for charity, the only time southerners get near ice cold water is when they drink it to cool off after a day of shooting rattle snakes.

I don't worry about my sidearm being TOO pronounced. In Mn it can be in plain sight so long as it's holstered and unless someone knows the trick to releasing the gun they can tug on it all day and it won't come out.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Yeah excuse my ignorance, i like most the Americans i met, and i met plenty. I trained in Quantico in Virginia and spend alot of time in DC, NY and CA.

I think there are dicks in every country, and nice folks too. I wouldnt go off one part of any place.

It just makes me laugh that there is still an obvious South/North divide. They seem to have that in every country on earth! In England we up north call southerners poofters and they call us monkeys etc..

A guy in Spain told me it is the same there too, and im sure in lots of other countries too.

Weird eh? I guess humans just like scrapping with their neighbours!

Human nature. You always want to point fingers at other people.

As I said, the Rebels are just sore at us Yanks for besting them. We'd do it again too if it came to it.

With what? you have no industry any more. industry is predominantly in the South and California. We'd agree to give California back to Mexico and send a tank division your way to discuss Gettysberg II-Picketts revenge, or just bomb you from orbit.

But its not necessary. We need Chicago style pizza to remain on the menu, and you send cold fronts our way.
