Chapterhouse wrote:In the works and due for release next month (or approximately) from some new talent at our studios is some nice stuff for you xenos players.

One of the biggest request we get is more alien race bits, since we pretty much only have space marine conversion kits at this time.

I have two new sculptors hard at work at this time. We wanted to do something for Eldar and Tyranids so we are releasing one conversion kit for each next month.

First up is the alternate heads for Tyranid players. These probably work best for Genestealers (and I think for the new special character genestealers, they would be awesome), they would also work with regular gaunts as well.

Second is our answer to the Eldar Farseer/Warlock Jetbike conversion kit. These will be 2 different figures that will be able to be used with the Games Workshop Jetbikes. You will have to replace the guardians with either the Farseer or Warlock pilot. We are planning on having 2 heads for each figure (I hope) as well as a sword and a spear. Also included will be some nice accessories to make the jetbike itself stand out from the regular ones (runes, new consoles, etc).

We will be releasing more Tyranid bits and models in the near future (I reallly want to do a new "Lictor" sculpt, but cast it in clear resin) .

Check out he finished greens for the bug heads and the concept art and rough greens for the Warlock and Farseer Jetbike kits below.

Happy gaming and kit bashing!

Just a repost from the locked thread:

I for one would like to post a big THANK YOU! for the space elf heads and rider bodies. It's nice to hear from a company that not only acknowledges the feedback that it asks for, but implements it as well. Kudos to you!

I agree that several space elf "tribal warrior" helmets with more-or-less animal/insect attributes would be pretty cool to have. Especially spider-like helmets and or guns... hint hint.

I've been assembling my jetlock squad this week and have to wait for the magnets to arrive before finishing them up, so I guess I know where my christmas money will be spent. Any idea on a timetable of when to expect the space elf heads to be released?

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Seeing as I play both nids and eldar I may be making a purchase sometime soon. Cool stuff.

In fact, they are close enough that I may be able to just drive over there sometime and just pick them up.

Thanks mates ( and thank you mod team for putting things back on track).

As I said on previous thread, Im working on 2 pincer head variants one will have full opened mouth (preda like)... Apart from that working simultaneously on a couple banana head aliens.
I have lots of ideas for the future I would like to explore and give them to chapterhouse to cast, not only for my private projects but that are also available to all bugfans.
Its like a symbiotic cooperation were everyone participates... You guys sugest stuff then I make some sketches mixing your sugestions with my own concepts then pool vote/sculpting and chapterhouse casts/sells... everyone happy.

I think this is the optimal hobby for bugfans or converters wanting to flesh out things more alternative. I have no commercial interest in this, at this time its not a business Im just a sculptor wanting to have fun in the hobby comunity.

I noted Chapterhouse was asking for suggestions in the other thread, so I thought I'd raise some of mine.

Guard related.

'Spiders' - Various male and female ganger related Guardsmen, I'd want more than just using Necromunda figs.
I'm thinking, heads with gang style haircuts, tattoo's, piercings, wearing helmets to the side.
Tops with Flak jackets undone to show the bra of a female, or chest of a male, sleeves rolled up, torn clothes, leggings, not bothered to patch them up etc. Bandana's tied over arms, legs and such to represent gang colours.
Animal teeth necklaces, little pouches and so on, ideas taken from figs across the Necromunda range as well as general Gang influences. Basically loads of little things which would allow the creation of a decent 'Spiders' regiment or just handy stuff for Guard players.

Female cadian/catachan other regiments, regardless of folks moaning, plenty of Guards players would buy these just for the added variety. I'm not even thinking about an all female regiment, but I'd at least like the option for two or three per squad.

Extra gear, backpacks, just for conversion possibilites, or extra stowage.

Shoulder mounted lights and/or helmet torch heads for those wanting to go down the Aliens road.

Eldar realated

Female Warlock, and/or Farseer.

Thats all I can think of straight of the bat.

"That's not an Ork, its a girl.." - Last words of High General Daran Ul'tharem, battle of Ursha VII.

Suggestions huh?

Dark Eldar conversion kit:
These would be some different torsos, heads, arms, legs, weapons and extras which you could stick to the plastic Eldar Guardian models. The Guardian model would be the basis, but simply add a different head, or some different arms or a different front torso to create your Dark Eldar. New arms with splinterrifle like weapons could also be added. Kind of try to redesign the Dark Eldar to look more akin to the Craftworkers, but still like Dark Eldar, but less of the gigantic spikes which would decapitate the wearer if he turns his head or the gigantic helmets.

Space Marines:
-More bare heads with different haircuts, bionics, scars, chapter icons, etc.
-Bare arms which could fit on the power armour and actually look convincing.
-Lightening claws that look more like a powerfist with long nails.
-Chainbayonet which could be attached to bolters
-Chaosified bits so you could create Renegade Chapters, so post-heresy tech chaosified, such as the normal Space Marine backpack, techmarines, apothecaries, etc.

Imperial Guard:
-More bare heads with different haircuts, bionics, scars, etc.
-Autoguns
-Different types of arms containing a laspistol and close combat weapon.

Orks:
-Bionics
-Weapons
-Heads and arms alike to Genestealer to create your Ork/Genestealer hybrids.

I know if I could get some female catachan heads, torsos, and arms to convert a few for variety I'd be very happy.

I have in hand from Rev, female guard heads as well, I will take some photos tonight (though they are small and may be hard to see well). These will be molded next week I hope.

I really like the concepts for the jetbike warlocks, and can't wait to see greens for them.

I would like to make one suggestion - some guard bits that emphasize just how the imperium of man is a weird place. Maybe some torso and the like that look different from any modern, historical, or grimdark infantry without looking chaosy would be awesome.

So you're running a xenos wishlist?

I would love:

- conversion kit to make eldar exodites using the dark elf cold ones as a base model
- conversion kit to make an eldar ranger pilot for a jetbike

Hell, anything eldar is going to be exciting for me - can't wait to see how these seer jetbikers turn out - Jan releases you hope?
