All right they're just like the regular Olympics but without all those poor countries stinking up the place!

They play all those traditional games we all love like, First you Ski, then you shoot, then you ski, or push the rock with the broom!

I remember playing those as a kid and now I can watch people from rich countries doing them!

I'm so excited!

Funny how they haven't enough money to do all the traditional wealthy persons' games this year.

So this is opposed to the Summer Olympics, which are dominated by all those poor countries like the US? And full of traditional games we played in school like Synchronised Swimming and Rythmic Gymnastics?

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Is it just me or are the mascots for the 2010 winter Olympics rather strange(I am fairly sure its just me, I just find it strange that most mascots are furry animals. Then again I can't really see what they would be otherwise)?

My lame joke aside, I have strangely always liked the winter Olympics.

Britain , whilst moaning at the current inconvenience of a bit of snow and Ice will no doubt demand that more be spent to support the bumbling inept Skiers, skaters and bobsleiders who suddenly appear out of nowhere for these events.

Perhaps it is one of things that has to be given time to grow on you. In any way, they are quite a lot better then the lion mascot we have for the 2010 world cup.

Hey the People's Republic of Red China won the most Gold Medals last time! And they won't ever let anyone forget it.

And we see people like Jamaican Usain Bolt and African runners clean up in the most basic of sports like Run Real, Real Fast, Jump Pretty High and Throw Stuff Far.

Sure there's BS like Sail Your Very Expensive Boat and Ride the Horsie but at least there are some real sports that real people can play without tons of expensive gear.

Pretty sure those were real people as only the Chinese can produce cyborg atheletes. What are you so bent out of shape about? Some people have some dont. I am damn glad I come from a Nation that can support those kind of sports. Dont let the life you live spoil your self loathing. Continue to cut.

Huh? I don't hate, in fact I'm happy the rich folks have their own private club for the Olympics, no more of those funny coutnries I can't spell or find on a map running around taking medals from more deserving rich folks. Nothing but Scandanavians, Yanks, Cunuks and other proper countries at these Olympics.

Yes sir.

Can't contain my excitement.

York/London(for weekends) oh for the glory of the british rail industry

one major problem with the whole 'the winter olympics is for rich people' seeing as:
Algeria
Andorra
Argentina
Arminia
Azerbaijan
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bulgaria
Belarus

I can't be arsed to list them all, but for a rich persons platy time there seems to an awfull lot of poor countries

and how can you ever forget the Jamaican bob slay team, shame on you.
