If that's the worst he can come up with, he's obviously never been to Anime Central. There is some great stuff there, but then again, there is some horrible spandex abuse as well.

OMG that was completely epic...
I have to admit i made a sub zero costume for a Halloween party once, I thought it looked pretty bad ass, now i have my doubts!
The naruto kid was great, at one of the old FLGS i played at there was a guy and girl (probly 14-15) that worse the wrist things and headbands all the time... We hid them once when they went to the bathroom. Pretty sure if we had waited any longer to give them back the kid woulda blown an artery in his brain.
And now to un-do the damage!

Yeah cos playing with toy soldiers based on a fictional future universe is sooooo much more sophisticated and in no way weird to a lot of people 
It looked to me that they know that they don't have the body beautiful and look anything like the lithe svelte beings that inhabit anime and video games.
They also looked like they didn't give a toss and were having a blast.

I actually felt more comfortable looking at the 20 worst than the 20 hottest.
I didn't really want to see all of the 20 worst, but I felt less personally creepy.
And there's nothing wrong with Cosplay, thou shalt not mock them for having the temerity to dress up and have a laugh (I've made worse halloween costumes) but when one does showboat oneself, in a large public forum then let the pictures get on the web in public domain, then thou must be ready to be mocked.

We can be on a level playing field and still mock them! Just like i get mocked by my wifes side of the family for warhammer. Of course, her calling it "he plays army men on friday night" doesnt help.
