First one. Everyone has black sisters, and the blue reminds me too much of Ultramarines.

I like the red the most, then black then blue. But the red is the best imo.

I'm personally not very fond of the colour red, mainly because I find it so hard to paint, so I would pick the blue
armour. But I'm sure the red armour, done properly, would look quite good.

It has been varified by John Hurt that the Ultramarines are indeed the greatest space marine chapter.

I said red, for the same reasons as Irdiumstern.

the red is the best co-ordinated.

If you want to do the blue, change the cloth color from red to bleached bone or white or something.

The first one. The most contrast and visible on the tabletop. Also, I like white tabards. My problem with the second one is that I'm not too fond of combining red and blue as main colours and the third one is rather boring.

I think I will goe for the red colour scheme as it would stand out on the battlefield.

There, see, the blue and white is CLASS. I think I'd even vote for that over the red and tan.

That said, red and tan is still great, so if that's what you like, I'd definitely go for it.

I am traditionalist: black. Sororitas armies are rare, so no problem with wearing the same dress
Then off-white. Then red. Don't like blue, not ecclesiarchical enough.

I think the blue ones are the best ones. It's a rarely seen scheme, which would make them stand out on the battlefield.

Red > Black > Blue. But the blue+white version you posted later is also very good.

However I'm painting mines white armour and green cloths ^^

Black for me.
BTW I've tried red ones & their a b*tch to figure out how to paint -
Do you a, base coat red & try to fill in the black bits afterwards or b, basecoat black then take a year to get a decent red over it??

BTW with the advent of the foundation paints I would now go down the 'b' route!

I did mine the 'a' route when GW did the red spray.
I did about fourty at once with 3 vehicles.
I did them in a shed which had plenty of holes.
However for the next week I was still finding little strings of red in my hanky!
IE - wear a mask.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I would go with the black... it would show more skill if you can highlight it appropriately, such as using a dark blue to highlight rather than just a lighter color or something. You'll be amazed at how versatile and subtle black can be.

If I may, here is a pic of my wife's Sister Hospitaller I painted for her, and she loves it:

Just offset the black with some white to go with the red you have planned.

Red.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

Why does everyone hate Ultramarines? I was going to start a SOB army painted the same way as that blue scheme to use as allies for my ultramarines. IMO the Blue scheme is awesome, but its better with the red IMO.

The blue one is sexy. I personally like the theme on the box (forget the name). Your black one isn't really like that one though.

Which is silly considering you can't ally SOB with space marines.

I voted red before I saw the blue with white tabards.
I think both would look great, but as stated above, the red and black looks are more traditional.
