They are such a nasty unit in WFB and 40K, they look good, and we are going to see a lot more of them in action.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Can you imagine how awesome it would have been if they allowed Chaos to remain, you know, Chaotic?

I'm sorry to say this to the Beancounters at GW (OK, I'm not really) but while I WOULD have spent lots of money expanding certain armies to include these units, I will NOT be buying a brand new Daemon only army.

Probably.

Runnin up on ya.

@Alpharius..

Now you've finally realized their trap but it's too late!! bwahahahaha

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Er, huh?

This is GW my good man, there's certainly no guarantee of that!

You're probably right though - and being able to work with plastic is another benefit, of course.

I built this sprue last week for my local GW shop. It's terrific. I'm guessing the price will be $44.50 to $49.50. Other kits of 3 large creatures have recently all been priced at $44.50 (e.g., Trolls, Minotaurs, Raveners) and of course, $49.50 is a price point seen on all the new tank kits. Hopefully it won't be more expensive than that.

What happened to the software here automatically taking care of double/treble posts? Recently the MODS here said not worry about these bobbles or editing the redundant posts when they occur, they would be taken care of automatically.

I seen them my self and the base can barely hold the model, its awsome! GW has some top notch designers they are really using their casting equipment to the max.

The Daemon items showing now on Advance Order are released August 7, as usual the first Saturday of the month. Additional releases each month are usually 2 weeks later, so August 21 (US Games Day in Maryland!) is the likely date for the Bloodcrushers.

Plastic, pfft.
You will not get to feel the weight of 'Awesome' that is the metal models.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I think he's gonna use it for a steed for a chaos lord. Or maybe he's gonna use them as a super cool proxy for bikers. That would be awesome!

Aye was thinking bikes, the Chaos Lord option isn't really worth considering over a Winged DP atm.

Well for my blunt truma tactics anyways.

I sold some of the original Juggernaut models at a GW Bizarre Bazaar a couple years ago and the buyer immediately used them in a game of 40K as counts as Khorne themed Chaos Marine Bikers. I thought it was a cool idea and the new plastic Juggernauts should be easy to work with to customize into something especially great looking.

When I saw these I just kept thinking about thunderwolf cavalry. They might actually pull it off if they make those in plastic.
