They all look kinda silly, sans the guy with the rifle/light shotgun. Then again, I never was a fan of the Infinity line.

I think they look AWESOME, I love the detail and proportions of this company's stuff....

Always like their robots..... I think I prefer the organic / curved look as compared to a lot of the current chunky block robots you see.

Thanks for the update.

Right because no one ever does that in a GW release thread

He has a point though. The drone is nothing we haven't already seen, the Aleph robot looks wonky and only the Nomad guy looks good among the infantry modes (or he will look good when someone reposes that ridiculous right arm). I've seen better from Corvus.

I have to say that this round of Infinity releases is less than inspiring. I like the Auxbot (cool name!) and the bigger one, but the rest are just kinda 'meh'. The Garuda Tacbot just kinda screams "I am generic anime!!! Ph34r me and my 8 thousand piece assembly!". Oh well. Can't all be winners.

Of course they don't. Why would anyone criticize GW when all their releases are solid gold... no... sorry, it's the prices that are like gold.

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you can't share your opinion. Ever read a 40k news thread before?

Well it's true to each their own, but if you are not a fan and never have been, coming on to say 'yup, still sucks' isn't contributing much, even purely conversationally.

There are plenty of mini lines I despise, but unless I have a constructive criticism or particular point to make (as HMV did with the arm repose and specific statements) I try not to derail people who do like it.

Then again, I puked all over the poomba-gore, but I hope we can all agree that was a special case LOL!

The difference is he didn't say that he didn't like these models, he said he didn't like the Infinity line. Why bother coming into a thread about a subject you don't like only to restate that you don't like it?

That's the difference between criticism and constructive criticism, an opinion and a valid opinion.

I really did the PanOceania lineup but those Garuda Tactbots from Aleph are great looking too.

My least favourite is the Moblot, which seems to be tip toeing through the tulips, which is fine.
But the legs look odd. Are they meant to be so skinny?

The rest look purdy good.
Liking the Sin Eater for some reason. Maybe cos am after a Delaque gang for Necromunda.

Not really impressed this month. I only dig the Sin Eater and his Wild West pose, the others are more like army fillers to complete all the weapon options so nothing really top notch. Let´s hope for cooler stuff next month like more ninjas.

lol Tervi poor guy you don't deserve a poop storm either, it wasn't a topic derailing comment until other people jumped in and amplified it! Let's just let it be and go back on topic boys, we are all civilized nerds, and the one comment that prompted my response above was very appropriately deleted.

So hug and highfive for Alphy and terrible tervigon and back to Infiniti -

Tervi, help me get this back OT, what is it about the line you don't like out of curiosity? I can understand the manga style may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I really personally love the proportions, finding them so much more accurate than GW or WM minis. The paintjobs are stunning for me too... is it just the style for you or other things too?

A lot of people are initially turned off by the Anime style and, ironically enough, the more normal proportions of the figures.

Note - the figures, not their weapons!

The infantry guy looks ok, I am tempted to check out what a unit of those guys looks like.

The "Garuda Tacbots" look like that gondam stuff (which I dislike)

The rocket dude looks like he subscibes to the "Halo" school of thinking for shooting rockets "Aim for their feet!"

The sniper looks a little silly, but i can dig it.

The peacemaker robot looks pretty cool, and out of all of them in my favorite.

The Gundam bot is my least favorite too, not because I hate the Gundam style neccesarily, I just find a lot of elements aren't well realized on it. The pose in general is a bit ungraceful, especially for such a long legged and thin mini, the right arm looks off in particular. The design below the knee doesn't appeal to me very much either, just a bit too 'precious' for a war bot if that makes any sense lol. Also, the head in torso look doesnt suit the rest of the graceful intent either, especially as it doesnt immediately scream 'I'm the head here I am!', which it should if you move it off the shoulders to me.

I'm a longtime Halo guy so the S.P.N.K.R II is no problem for me though lol

I'm guessing the Moblot is so oddly posed because it's a female model. The bare skin at the back kinda reinforced that initial thought.

Other than that, not a really mind blowing release this month, aside maybe from that Djanbazan guy.

"I don't like Infinity and these have not changed my mind" is a valid opinion.

The first 'bots are awesome, and the Sin Eater is also amazingly good. On the other hand, the Garuda bots are very awkwardly posed, and the Djanbazan's gear looks very off. Something about the mix of realistic and cartoony doesn't play well on that figure. The Moblots is also pretty bad. The pose is terrible, the gear is impractical, and the weapon looks like a Halo knockoff.

That Sin Eater, though...

Everyone who doesnt like infinity needs some slaps (joking)

But yeah this is one of the best miniatures sculpts released consistently month after month... you can, or not, like the style but the quality and the fact they are so damned consistent every release is something very enjoyable to witness.

This month theres no jing so me are sad bugger but the aleph are SO cool. Great new faction.
