I'm wondering, since the Volunteer Painted Deathwatch that we've seen is exclusively United States, would anybody be interested in participating in a UK Edition? If you're not sure what I'm talking about, then see below.

What follows below is all that you need to know when Building and Painting.

Please do not Base your Miniatures, if you are participating. I will do that, to ensure that they are consistent. I will also Scribe your Name on the Base of the Marine. Also, it won't be necessary to add any Deathwatch Colours, not the Shoulder Pad, not at all. I'd prefer the unaltered Chapter Schemes, as it gives them a closer resemblance to your Armies.

I'm also looking for 1 Kantor and 2 Sergeants, as well as - possibly - Special Weapons. If you'd like to do a Squad Transport, either a Rhino, Razorback or Drop Pod, then by all means feel free!

When Finished, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my Address for you to send them! I'll then take Pictures, and post them up here!

Please Note that the Names on the Expressed Interest List are not final, and you are at no obligation to participate. The Names are simply here for me to judge roughly how many Deathwatch I'm looking at. Also, these Names are of the individuals who can Build, Paint and Send. This is the only way I will be able to run the VPD, as I cannot afford to send Marines to everybody for them to Paint. One or Two wouldn't hurt. Ten or Twenty would.

I'd be more than happy to participte. I'm also participating in the US edition (the P&P has been sorted) but getting to paint another marine would be great, I could even paint it as a Salamander (as I'm doing for the U.S. edition).

I could probably rope my brother into painting a SM as well (he has a totaly different painting style from me and has become a proficient painter). My parents don't care if I give away any WH40k stuff cause they say 'You bought it, it's your responsibiliy (and you can do what you like with it)'.

EDIT: Lord of Change is my brother. I would be happy to send you a painted Space Marine (would a simple SM from the £5 box suffice?).

Thanks for the interest! I'm not sure if I'll be doing this, simply down to Postage Costs, but anybody that's offering to contribute could just as easily offer to take up the mantle. If you can deal with the Postage.

Depending on what bits I can find lying around, I could probably assemble it myself, rather than requiring bits being sent. Postage couldn't be too expensive either could it?

It would be if I have to send 20 Marines to 20 Locations. Not for you, though, it should be £2, tops. I don't have the Hard Cash to be able to send Marines here, there, and everywhere, but if you wanted to Build, Paint and Send, then yeah, that would be great!

I'm in. For preference, I would paint a Space Wolf (as that's the only "codex" chapter I play) but I would also be happy to either use my (unnamed) homegrown chapter or paint a scheme that you request.

Emps Temps I think. Whichever you like, really, since it isn't part of the Army. Officially.

Okay! Also, if somebody wants to do a Kantor - it can be the actual model, or a Counts-As - then just say, as he'll be part of the Sternguard! He can be in your Chapter though, even if it's the actual model. I'd prefer the Kantor GW Model, because then he's easily recognised, but if you'd prefer to make your own, do so by all means! Only 1 person can do this, obviously.

Ill make a MIA special charecter but not Kantor as he's needed!

I'll paint the Salamander as a Sergeant (I can easily convert one of the three £5 SM into having a power fist and plasma melta pistol (or combi-melta) since I have a saw, drill and knife)

I tried doing something similar a while ago and it never got lift off! Personally however, i think a bit of Deathwatch iconography wouldn't go amis IMHO.
