You know as of last week i was planning on buying a BF 720 pack but now i dont know. If Neal is giving a nice discount on Sabol army transports i might have to buy one for cheap. Neal is definitely one cool guy and will continue to recieve my business.

More serious questions: is the 20% on top of the usual 20%?

Okay, I've got two questions about this:

1) I've never ordered from the Warstore (I never order from the US) and I noticed that their international shipping estimates aren't firm. Can anyone who's ordered from Canada give me an idea of what their shipping rates were actually like. Also, did you have to pay a brokerage fee, or was it just the duty?

2)It looks like Sabol is a pluck and pick system. How well do Flames of War bases fit in their basic trays. Also, how many medim bases would fit in a single tray?

1) Their shipping is reasonable. I believe I paid 10 bucks to have 3 Obliterators shipped to Toronto for a friend. Brokerage will apply if he labels the actual value of the items and it qualifies. Some places do, some don't

In one of the locked threads Romeo said he didn't sell BF products through the warstore because he didn't want the warstore to undercut his existing FLGS accounts.

I don't know if this is true but on TGN this was posted;

In the letter above Romeo stated “we actually do not sell our products using The WarStore to protect our individual business owner that cannot compete with the internet market.”

This is not a true statement. In fact TheWarStore.com has refused to support the Battlefoam line from day one. Romeo has been told several times that they are not interested in his line. Yet he has in fact continued to pursue them as a client.

I'm guessing that the the profit margin isn't high enough on Battlefoam for it to be worthwhile for the Warstore. It's essentially a custom product anyway.

Oh man, and I've been meaning on picking up foam for my new Empire army too.

They really are good folks. If ever there was an actually FRIENDLY local game store, it is them, whether or not you actually make it in there or just order off the internet.

Okay, that's what I wanted to hear.

@Nurglitch - the usual 20% discount is only on GW products. Overall though, their prices for most things tend to be a bit lower than MSRP for all products/lines/companies what have you.
