As you all should know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and if there's one thing anti-social nerds love, it's boobs. So I propose that for the month, we all rock pink avatars, to raise awareness. Just go about you normal business, but pinker.




I'll happily pink-ify anyone's avatar who is brave enough, and doesn't have access to Photoshop.

I think just pink will work well. I mean, its November next month which is for prostrate cancer. Imagine the avatars then if we included the area of interest in them [shudder]

Yes, but then what? Pink avatars? Surely raising awareness would be posting information about the cause and other information, not just changing the avatars. Call me harsh, but I choose not to partake in this.

I'm just sort of wondering how many people who are capable of using the internet are not aware of the existence of breast cancer.

It helps because Jimmy Firepants will be all "what's with the pink avatars, d00ds?" and we'll be like, "This thread explains it: <link to this here thread>" and then I or someone else will be like, "tell you mom or missus to get a mammogram, amirite?"

And even if there isn't much awareness to be raised,it's the same as participating in Memorial Day, or 9/11 remeberances. Lots of people have died to breast cancer, a lot of people currently are.

Hmm I guess that works.

And we all wanna make sure that there are healthy boobs arround.

My one was too hard to edit in paint as I lost the original so was really just editing what I uploaded here. So I had to make a new avatar for this
