Not even remotely funny. As someone who's both assembled complex model kits and suffered injuries at the hands of my own tools, I find this "joke" to be in extremely poor taste.

Really? As someone who's also assembled complex model kits and suffered injuries at the hands of my own tools I found it a complete stitch.

Six stitches in my left hand and I got H1N1 from the waiting room of the ER. The picture is up on Dakka in a couple of threads. This was a year ago and my hand still gets weird electric tingles through it from the nerve damage. As I read this, I laughed so hard I had about 6 people turn in their chairs to look at me.

Get over it.

A new day, a new time zone.

It's a joke - there's no way anyone could rectally encompass a boss-pole that deep.

A question of context - was the Huey Hog a particularly notorious model to assemble?

No fear, I think that's the Revell 1/48 kit the joke is based on. The parts layout and sprue color seem to match a review I found: http://www.scale-rotors.com/news-reviews/revell/bell-uh-1-huey-hog-04476

Thank goodness for sprue clippers!

I picked up my kit for a quid as it is missing the lower nose glazing parts. This means making moulds then crash moulding some clear acetate,

Doubt if I will lose that much blood if any, but the burns department at A&E and the Fire Brigade could get a call!

The worst I have done is to slice into a finger with a new scalpel blade, pinging off the front canopy, potentially into the jaws of the carpet monster.
Frantically scrabbling around on all fours looking for the missing piece with blood dripping profusely. Messy business but the part was eventually found but it was a while before I got the bleeding to stop.

I've seen this posted on here at least five times before. The humour kind of fades after that long.

First time I've seen it.
Have to be honest and say I don't find it funny at all
not even a smile.

the best bit is probably the reference, intended or accidental, to The Pieta in the last photo.

What's netsprach for retaining emotional stability ina neutral way? anti-lol/lulz ? unlulz?

Okay this is ridiculous, people need to let the CS Goto thing die. It's so bad people are just posting random links trashing him in threads that have nothing to do with CS Goto.

Also I think the OP was in very poor taste. As a laundry and beard aficionado I can tell you getting blood out of your clothes and/or beard is no laughing matter. Y'all should be ashamed.
