Peak Bearer, Confrontation, WIP
more to come...

Nice painting. Is that all Warmachine stuff? Are they harder to paint than GW figures?

@ perkustin.
Yeh, they are a little harder in my opinioin, because the average size and shape(ish) of the models are completely different from the GW range. So if you learnt to paint around GW, then it'll be a bit hard, but I did and can paint warmachine to a decent stabdard.
(refeering to the pictures above) Very Impressive.

warmachine stuff is more fun to paint then GW stuff right now for me. i like the streampunk feel. the 1st and 3rd models are from confrontation, a deceased game from France that still has some of the best models in the miniatures created and they are pretty dated.
the green? the troll was harsh highlights, base was mutation green and finished with goblin green, with 2-3 mixes in between. the thing i like about confrontation models is it lets me just enjoy painting the model more since games are few and far in between. i usually paint for the table so im in a rush, there is no rush with the confrontation stuff.
updates:
backside of the peak bearer (yes he has 2 heads) and a Cygnar Sentinel light warjack to round out a small cygnar fit i am in.

Thanks for sharing, Dave. I guess you mean Game Color paints? I can get these in Belgium, so I think I got that covered. I'll get those paints someday and I'll paint up an ork that way. should give some nice results seeing what you did.

vallejo game color yeah.
more updates.....
Cygnar Sentinel is done. the force is speed painted since im more interested in gaming with the force then making it look pretty. i spend more time on the confrontation stuff
side shot of the whole force, around 50 points worth with 3 warcasters. the force is almost done, waiting on a solo or 2 in the mail to finish it off.
Goblin Cyclops Gong Banger, Confrontation.
my dog, Alfred Zeus. He sleeps 18-20 hours a day, perfect for our cramped living space.
next im working on more of the Peak Bearer, looking at kicking out a 300 pt. force for my intro to the game (which ive never played before, i just dig the models) and painting some Cryx (warmachine) in the future and possibly repainting Lizardmen if i can get myself back into 8th (which i enjoy so far)
thanks for the comments.
small update, got some work done on the Peak Bearer.

I love the paintjob on the goblin shaman/ 'peak bearer' guy, very painterly and artistic. It is like a better version of how i paint my models.

Nice cygnar force all together, but especially groovy work on the R stuff. Pretty surprised to hear you're going to actually play some Confrontation, is that with Lex? Or are there other sweet painters with stockpiles of cool stuff who want to put it on a tabletop? - Salvage

guy named mike at the LGS played a while back and wanted to get back into it. i dont need a huge excuse to by these models they are some of the best sculpts ever and they are 10+ years old. really enjoying pouring tons of time into them as opposed to my standard speed painting.
small update on the strohm warrior, now with white paper.

But ... I'm doing Skorne
Nice scheme on eMak, white is a fun detour. Starting out with Mordikaar and pHexy, trying to be less cookie cutter but we'll see (bronzeback + 2 savages + full nihiliators + 4/6 beast handlers = 25 points), I suppose technically I've not played a game yet
Uber nightmare action there, and groovy orcs and such as usual.
