Hey Dakkadakka, I was wondering what kind of 40k Dakkanaut you are? Coz I always seem to find myself lurking on the P&M section, where as some people are more inclined to discuss strategies and tactics...

I got first vote, and voted both You make Da Call/Proposed Rules, and General Discussion.

Just what I do the most.

I don;t know why you put YMDC and Proposed Rules together. They are vastly different subjects. For example, I often post in Proposed Rules, (hell, I've written a codex) but rarely post in YMDC unless I have specific question or see a question that I can answer and has no replies.

I post mostly in Tactics, Army Lists, and Background. I think most of the posts in General Discussion are fairly low quality, truth be told, but sometimes a wayward Tactics of Fluff post finds it's way in here.

What about an off-topic dakkaite?

I deplore the use of 'Dakkaite'. Are we not Dakkanaughts one and all?

I presume so, yes. We should eliminate this abomination.

Look, any sorry son of a bitch can be a something -ite. Being a something -naut puts you in the same elite category as astronauts, which are fething awesome.

I was more thinking Argonauts rather than Astronauts.

Level of awesome it takes to make it into a legend of Ancient Greece is quite high.

I'm much more a lurker than a poster but I definately am a bit addicted to the P&M forums... so much cool looking stuff, good ideas and advice!

I have a blog there that hasn't been updated in a gazillion years as well... I'd like to be more active but taking photos is a pain in the ***. Maybe I'll get round to putting more stuff up sometime!

I stick to news, swap shop, P& M, and general.

The amount of stupid suggestions that are put up in YMDC, tactics, and the army list sections are just appalling.

It's Dakkaite.

Dakkaite doesn't roll off the tongue the way Dakkanaut does.

Honestly, Dakkaite sounds dumb to me. Putting the letter "a" and "i" right next to eachother in a three syllable word without the use of a consonant between them sounds poor.

Dakkanaut all the way.

But on topic, I'm definitely a P&M Dakkanaut.

Pronounced dak-ite. Easy.

I tend to lurk the longest in the General and General 40k areas, but I drift pretty much everywhere but the last one and the news forum unless I'm looking for something specific.

While I pop on to General and Tactics pretty frequently, by and large I'm a P&M guy. Although, perhaps I should spend less time trawling around Dakka and more time at the workspace, so I feel a bit more justified saying that I actually am a P&M guy...
