Full album, not a couple songs. What was the last full album you generally liked from beginning to end. This shouldn't be confused with a "favorite album" thread. The last album you enjoyed may not be your favorite. I think the lst one for me was the White Stripes Iggy Thump album. I know, I know, I'm behind.

Do you mean last album listened to, last album released or last album heard for the first time?

The last album I listened to all through, nodding my head, was "Kind of Bloop".

It isn't that esoteric a question. I never gave a time frame so if the last album you listened to and enjoyed from beginning to end was the Boston Pops doing the selected pieces of Mozart it qualifies.

I mean by "last" do you mean the most recently released album you have listened to that you enjoyed, the most recently listened to album you have enjoyed or the album you have most recently found out about that you listened to and enjoyed?

Last full good album I heard was smash by the offspring but I only found out about that gem a few weeks ago

I really prefer the later Offspring stuff, and only thought Smash was okay. The last good album I listened to was the newest Paramore one, Brand New Eyes. Lots of good lyrics on there and it's fairly rockin'

Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

If you are talking liking every single song on it, rating every song 4 or 5 out of 5, then I can name them, as very few albums have managed that feat.

Last one, probably Speak Now by Taylor Swift, but I'm late to listening to her, got two of her albums in Jan this year.

Albums where I've liked every single song..

Metora by Linkin park
Daughtry by Daughtry
Leave This Town by Daughtry
Only Revolutions by Biffy Clyro
Fallen by Evanescence
Riot! by Paramore
Brand New Eyes by Paramore
Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace by the Foo Fighters
Under my Skin by Avril Lavigne
Light Me Up by The Pretty Reckless
Afterglow by Sarah McLachlan
The Globe Sessions by Sheryl Crow
Innuendo by Queen

So aye, not that many, have a lot where one or two songs on the album don;t impress me, but these are the ones I never skip whenever they go on.

"That's not an Ork, its a girl.." - Last words of High General Daran Ul'tharem, battle of Ursha VII.

Last album I listened to fully was City of Evil- Avenged Sevenfold.
Before that something by The Beatles or The Who. However if it counts when my Dad puts Irish folk albums on in the car (Declan Nerney for the win) then I have listened to one of those more recently. However that was not the question, the last good album I listened to was Billy Talent II some good songs on there.

Dude.

You've read my mind twice today. This is the most recent album I can think of that I have listened to from beginning to end and enjoyed. Moving backward there is of course Saint Elsewhere, Antichrist Superstar and Dark Side of the Moon...

Literally the last album that I listened to all the way through, and enjoyed, was 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' by The Beatles. It's on heavy rotation at present.

I just bought Social Distortion's "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes" on CD and have enjoyed it. Not as strong as some of their offerings but good none the less.

Machinegun Blues just rocks:

Another I got a couple of years ago but have listened through completely recently is Megadeth's "United Abominatiosn" which just kicks ass each time I hear it.

Feeling some brotherly love for Ahtman, MR, and MGS right now. Icky Thump, Antichrist Superstar, and How to Destroy Angels are all solid choices I agree with.

As for me, the most recent two I listened to are Cake's Prolonging the Magic and Ladytron's The Witching Hour.

I am kind of a luddite when it comes to music and don't use an MP3 player, listening mostly to CDs in the car. I regularly switch in and out, though, listening to a song or three and then swapping discs. Those two, however, have both wound up recently being played front to back without swapping, even if I originally intended only to listen to a track or two. The whole album in both cases is just that good.
