The zombie apocalypse has finally started and you have to survive. You get to have four people in your group of survivors to help out. But the thing about survivors is that you never know who you're going to wind up with.

To figure out who your survivors are, you must go to Wikipedia and hit the "random article" button. The first four PEOPLE to appear are the members of your team, the first place to appear is WHERE you'll be making your stand

For example:
I am making my stand at Milk River in Jamaica with Albert Percy Blesing (Former Australian Politician and farmer), Ivica Dragutinović (A Serbian footballer), Grant Random (American DJ) and Otto Martins Glória (A Brazilian football player)

Here you are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
Now, get started!!!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

Kept getting dead people, but didn't think they would count - surely they'd be on Team Zombie...

Ended up with this merry bunch;

#1 - Hinderk "Beekiller" Bleker, a Dutch politician
#2 - Júnior full name Manoel de Oliveira da Silva Júnior, a Brazilian footballer currently playing for Greek club Ergotelis
#3 - Rosanne Somerson, an American born woodworker
#4 - Igor Vladimirovich Lebedev, the chairman of the LDPR parliamentary group of the Russian State Duma and the LDPR Youth Organization.
Location - Palkumbura, a village in Sri Lanka

FTW

1) Eloy Perez (born October 25, 1986, in Rainier, Washington) is a undefeated professional boxer in the Super Featherweight division.

Off to a nice start already.

2) Grady A. Wallace, was an All-American basketball player for the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Still doing good. No dead weight so far.

3) Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born 7 October 1978)[1] is an English singer-songwriter, dancer, model and television personality.

So we're not dealing with a total sausagefest.

4) Catalina Mercedes "Katty" López Samán (born February 27, 1983 in Guayaquil) is an Ecuadorian beauty pageant contestant who won Miss Ecuador 2006. She competed in the third season of the Univision reality series Nuestra Belleza Latina in the United States and came in third place.

And we knock another one out of the park.

And we'll be trying to survive at.... Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Oh bloody hell. First of all I'm in Cincinnati which is bad enough but now zombies on top of it? Nothing like trying to survive at ground freaking zero.

Oh yeah, sure. The second place to come up is of course in fething paradise.

It appears I'll be making my last stand with a pair of soccer players from Nigeria (Chinedu Ezimora) and South Korea (Moon Ki-Han) along with a Serbian academic (Slobodan Samardžić) and Australian writer (Drusilla Modjeska).

And all of us stuck up in Carlyle, Saskatchewan (population 1,200).

At least we're in a reasonably defensible spot. Although it appears that the zombie apocolypse occurred during the annual Rural Saskatchewan Soccer Tournament and Academic Roundtable.

Truly an unfortunate series of events.

My "elite" team and I will be making our stand in the town of Bryncoch, Wales. I guess it's good that I at least have a whole town to work with. So who's in this thing with me?

Hedwig Lachmann - German author, translator and poet. I guess we'll have someone to write about how awesome we are?

Lasairfhíona - Irish singer/songwriter. At least there's a woman in there. Haven't heard any of her stuff, but it can't hurt to have a singer around. Hopefully someone with actual survival skills is coming next.

Pavel Egorov - Russian pianist and scholar. I guess the zombies hit Bryncoch during some sort of arts festival. I'm pretty sure I'm already doomed. Who's my last team member?

Ron Wasserman - Another musician (reads article). Oh! OH! Responsible for composing the theme song to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! YEAH! I'm still doomed, but that is just awesome.

Stephen Lord a British actor

Coco Fusco a Cuban-American interdisciplinary artist and writer

I think my best bet will be to push ole stevo down a flight of steps, blame some zombies, and get all giggity giggity with the three probably not horribly unattractive women until the zombies inevitably kill us all. Cause not a damned one of us have any real survival skills.

Michael Smith, an English darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation events - 21 y/o

Team if dead people are allowed:
Ellen Allien, born Ellen Fraatz, a German electronic musician - 42 y/o
Acumenus - Athenian physician - Age at death unknown
Alexander Adolphus Dumfries Henshaw MBE, a British air racer in the 1930s and a test pilot for Vickers Armstrong in the Second World War - Deceased at 94
Nicola Fabrizi, an Italian patriot, born at Modena. Fabrizi. Was one of the most militant and dedicated leaders of the Risorgimento, the movement aimed at the unification of Italy - Deceased at 80

and if you could have mythical beings, then this one would be 4th in my original team:
Qandisa (Qandiša) is a female mythological figure in Northern Moroccan mythology. Known in folk tales either as a goddess of lust, or simply as a female demon, she lives in springs and rivers. Qandisa seduces young men and then drives them insane. On the summer solstice, sacrifices are made to her. Qandisa is a possible version of an older goddess such as Astarte.

Looks like my squad and I will be hunkering down at Richmond Airport. How I got to Australia is beyond me. Still, could be worse, even though airports aren't exactly the most fortified positions most of the time, and theres the potential for a large population of travelers become zombies. Still, airports have lots of news stands and restaurants, which means food and basic medical supplies. I'm not sure what security measures they take in Australia, but we'd be able to liberate whatever weapons airport security had.

The first survivor I've got is Joey Waronker who is a drummer. Not good, but not bad either.

I've gotDerek Ufton an ex-cricket player/coach, who by this time is probably 100% geriatric. Were he younger, I'd view him as an asset, but I'd have to worry about his hip breaking probably, so he's more of a liability.

Next up is another athlete, Bernard Brito. Another semi-oldtimer, though he should be able to wield a bat still.

Rounding out the roup is Elgar Howarth who is both old, and a musician, and subsequently useless in this scenario.

Note that I disregarded people who Wikipedia had already confirmed as dead. They'd be on the zombies side, most likely.

This'll be an interesting apocalypse...

I love how all mine bar 1 are relatively young, with one guy a darts champ, and the other a professional boxer. The other is a musician, but she can provide the funky backing music for the slaughter, whilst the 70 year old canoer can sprint down the river to get help etc. etc. (Don't worry, we'll tie a note around her ankle in case she dies during the trip and she finds help (or help finds her).

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. So other than myself I get paired with:
1) Mark Bayliss (Australian football player)
2) Gina G. Turrigiano (U.S. neuroscientist)
3) Thomas D. Calnan (97 year old English pilot)
4) Wilburn Theodore Cole (Jamaican Ska vocalist)

Our best hopes for survival is for Mrs. Turrigiano to find a cure somehow. The old guy is gonna get eaten methinks, unless he has some awesome war stories then i guess we'll have to keep him alive.

Our hideout is going to be in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Zombies will freeze and become deadest in winter, right?

The Capivara River (Araçuaí River) is a river of Minas Gerais state in southeastern Brazil. Nicky Tyrone Little (born 13 September 1976) is a rugby union footballer. Philip J. Morrison is an American professor in physics at the University of Texas.Robert Brown (circa 1904 - 1985) was an All-American center who played for the University of Michigan Wolverines from 1923-1925. Nina Arvesen (born May 16, 1961 in White Plains, New York) is an American actress of Norwegian extraction, best known for her performances on American soap operas.
