It has been awhile since I wrote anything here at Dakka, so I decided to show my latest project: a new version of the old Ork Blimp.
So, here are some pics of the project!

So, here is the piece of styrofoam that everything started from

One battlewagon kit, some plasticard and there you go, the gondola is almost finished!

Now the balloon after it has been covered with fabric

Now the gondola has been basecoated with black and drybrushed.

Let's add some rust!

The orks wouldn't have left such a huge space as the balloon empty, neither would I!

The gondola is finished and now it's time to start modeling some crew!

Here is the crew, built from Forge World grots and random ork parts

After putting connecting the gondola and the balloon, the Ork Blimp G2 stands ready!!

The little grot with the binocular thing definitely is my favourite!

This guy is possibly going to have a headache soon!

Well, know that you've seen the pics, please comment and tell what you think!

This is silly! Buttons are not how one escapes dungeons! I would smash the button and rain beatings liberally down on the wizard for playing such a trick!

Really nice. I am impressed what rules do you use for it? Battlewagon rules?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
