Inspired by the previous thread: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/353846.page

We know the protagonists are all shiny and crap, like Space Marines, but which of the antagonists or arch-foes of your fave Hero do you find the most evil, sinister or what not.

I would have to say that Arkham Asylum is home to probably some of the worst foes known to Heroes anywhere. Not only do the DC artists draw them very well, but the writers manage to make them some of the most twisted degenerates we have encountered in comic canon.

Eg. Harley Quin and Killer Croc

I always find villains much more interesting than the heros in most cases ...

The Joker would of course be at the top of my list, but others...if we're not limiting ourselves to comics, would be Captain Spaulding (of course) and Alexander DeLarge.

I like the concept of Silver Skull and his incarnation in 'old man logan' is way cool.

I think it should be just comic canon because, there is way too many villains for there to be a favorite one if we include other media.

@ MGS...

Huge +1 for Betty Davis in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane."...Her character was positively evil...

" But ya are in the wheelchair Blanche!!..You are!!"...absolutely fantastic.

I don't read comic books, but I've always been a fan of Venom. Don't know why; I've just always found the fellow to be cool.

As far as other mediums go, I just love Dreden Codak so I'll say those darn Time Travelers.

Personally I thought Ben Wade was the cooler villain.

Q was never really a villain.

It's been hinted at by the writers of TNG that when Q threw the Enterprise across the galaxy and introduced them to the borg, that he was warning the federation against this new threat by getting around the rules of Q.

His actions gave the federation a year to prepare.

And finally, because I was rooting for him the entire movie...
