Making this thread to find a new game. Hoping to find some of those hidden gems that I may have missed in the years and maybe some Dakkas will benefit from this thread too. Only rules are that you state the system the game is for.

Not sure if this is topic relevant, but does anyone remember that arcade game from late 80's early 90's? It was a side scroller like Final Fight, but you grabed these orbs that let you turn into different characters like Samurai and Ninjas. It wasn't altered beast.

Yessir, I even have the cartridge (red). But I don't have the box or manual :\.
Also Lord Scythican ... I am not sure. I keep thinking of Mystical Ninja. It had Goemon and a fat guy. I can't recall much from the SNES version. I did enjoy the N64 version, though. That might be what you're looking for. Do you remember anything else from it?

I think I found it after a few hours of searching.
Sengoku
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/sengoku/sengoku.htm
If I remember correctly, you could collect the orbs and change into different characters. I remember it looking better, so it may have been Sengoku 2.
I remember one guy clean cut walking with two katanas. The other character was like a Cowboy, (think Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man). Maybe it hasn't aged well, but I remember it looking a lot better. Darker more gitty. The cowboy was not wearing pink...

My neighbor had that game along with Mario is Missing. If you want to learn some interesting facts about random places while looking for Mario that's the game for you.
Conker's Bad Fur Day(N64), the game that got Nintendo to sever ties with Rare. Don't get the xbox version of the game(Live and Reloaded), Microsoft rushed them and ruined the game.
Army Men Air Combat(N64), Super Conflict(SNES), Firepower2000(SNES) is a great co- op game.

Of course it does, it's a DOS game, and anything after windows 98 isn't made to use DOS.
Its graphics aren't what make it special-- it's the game's customization, research, and economy (you run a business thus the name, including owning stock in other businesses) that make it awesome.

The Neverhood - PC
Shadow of Memories - PS2 (though I think it has been re-released on other platforms since)
Red Ninja - PS2
Dark Chronicle - PS2
Ninety Nine Nights - Xbox 360
Samurai Warriors 2 Empires- Xbox 360 (kind of like a mix of Civilisation and Dynasty warriors)
Lost Odyssey - Xbox 360 (basically a not-final fantasy)

Vanquished - PS3
The list is usually longer but I can't remember most of them at the moment, just these more recent ones.
