Hi and thanks for checking out my blog!

First of all, I'll tell you why I started this blog: A couple of years ago we had a big fire in my house where nearly every single model I owned was melted into a nice little blotch. Over nearly £1000 worth of stuff gone. Kaput. So for a long while, the sight of a warhammer 40k model sickned me and I cringed everytime I walked past a games workshop just thinking of all of them. But enough with the sob story, one day I decided it was time to get over myself and start up my Warhost again (I had over 10,000pts of stuff) this time however, would be bigger and better than before!

So, I thought to myself, what kind of army should I run with? I knew that I wanted Eldar - that was a certainty. In the past I ran with very few vehicles, despite my extensive collection of them 4th edition was just not a vehicle friendly place. So I decided to go for an all jetbike list, something which I loved the idea of; the fast but fragile high-risk high-reward army which can run circles around people.

So it is with great pleasure I give you my fellow dakkites, the beggining of the end for all you Mon-Keigh! The remnants of Craftworld Dael'Rea; thought lost in Hive Fleet Behemoth's maw.



So this was what I picked up at my local store to start things off, didn't want to get too out of my depth!

This blog looks to have great potential! If you are going heavy jetbikes - might I suggest investing in a box of Guardian Defenders as well? The multi-part kits look awesome and provide some much needed variety to the (admittedly old-looking) stock jetbikes.

I must say I prefer the technique on your guardians and the like rather than the HB:s, they seem too gloss, at least in the pictures. The others thogh look great (however they give me a superman feeling with the red and blue )

Yes, in person the Howling Banshees actually look far better and it was my first time using gloss varnish...I may have went overboard (Still, learning curve right?)

Believe it or not, the other stuff is blue and orange, not red. I think it's the lighting, but thatnk you for the input and comment!

Heyy guys, another update.

Managed to make myself a custom Farseer on Jetbike with a singing spear, C&C welcomed! (Painting is in the first stages so isn't finished! )

How did you make it? I would gues, apart from the Jetbike, female guardian body and DA power wepone, but how did you get thehead?

The spear is from the Dire Avenger sprue, The head was a spare Farseer metal head I had lying around, the torso is from the guardian box and the other arm is also from the guardian box. Just a simple kitbash really

Very cool. Personally I prefer robed Eldar psykers, but they are damn hard to make sitting on jetbikes... Guess I will have to green stuff like hell if I want it that way...

Saintspirit, I was going to do robes for my farseer but my confidence in my abilities with greenstuff is next to zero.

You could put them on guardian weponplatforms. Just check those bitsites.

Looking very nice, once that farseer is done being painted, you will have a legit far seer.
Oh Idea, you could do a little trimming to make the spear make look more for thrusting. Might be kinda hard and look kinda weird, but it could work( Better Idea if you have an extra try it on that then do his)

The Singing Spear was something I thought about the positioning quite carefully, I wanted to give her the impression of being just about to charge and trying to model her leaning slightly forward.
