Subject: Classic, awesome love Songs that you can rock out to!
Well, I was just rocking out to this song while doing some work:
And I started thinking, hey, when you sort of step back and look at it, this song's a love song!
The thing is, it's not a sappy, wishy love song, or some kind of angsty, whiny song; it's a fething awesome love song! It's not flowery or exaggerated and it doesn't feel contrived or forced. It feels good! It makes you happy; it makes you want to go out and get the girl (or guy, depending on your preferences) while looking supremely badass.
It's classic and cool, and it's a love song.
I guess I'm in a bit of a "feth yeah! Rock n' Roll!!" kind of mood at the moment.
So dakka, what are some classic, cool, rock (or any genre) love songs that you like to rock out to?
Here's a few more that I've since looked up:
And I suppose that what is or isn't a "love" song is subjective, more or less, so whether or not a song is or isn't a love song could be debatable, but for the purposes of this thread if someone considers something a love song then don't nag 'em about it if you disagree.

Everything...if you have a romantic relationship with dangerous cats. Perhaps it could be the theme song for crazy cat ladies? I'm at work so I can't post a youtube link or anything but Love Bites by Judas Priest.

by the way these are classics as they were written in 99's but weren't released to youtube until 2000+
What does "Eye of the Tiger" have to with love?
love of sports and training and never giving up... Oh no i thought of a song.
Not like its going to be an awesome song i mean. Everytime i hear the song it makes me angry. Very few times do we hear it.. Equalvent to an awesome song of old. Righteousness in its on right.
Giving out good love songs is rare Or you get owned and laughed at Not much of a time eh? Never-mind Almost everytime this thread pops up someone tries to rick roll someone.
Giving this song so much credit it is great. In most songs it can never be split up into multiple paragraphs. Very few can stand it. Efficiently produced.
You must relize by now this not really a joke. Or is it? Underneath it all its a great song all of them shown thus far.
Updating the place how was my..... Position now?

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Yeah, know one understands love (or lack there of ) better than a man who beds thousands of strangers. Either way I think we can all agree that Motorhead rocks pretty hard. Any way here's a more sad song from
Pink Floyd it's about Pink inviting a groupie into his room after learning of his wife's affair. At first when the groupie tries to get his attention, he is too busy thinking of his wife to hear her, and the song is largely a
description of his failed relationship with his wife.

I love music! First time venturing down here to the off topic forum. Nothing beats the rock n roll love song. Maybe not some of the more rock out to songs but they are definatly rock n roll love songs that kick.
One of my favorite bands Wishbone Ash. The song is just killer, damn near the ultimate love song imo.. the lyrics just are spot on with what it means to love.
