Your army lacks fast attack. To fill this gap i recommend bikers and an assault squad

Mix an attack biker in the squad then zoom around killing tanks.

Sounds good to me. Should I put a Multi-melta or a heavy bolter? tanks= multi melta, but heavy bolter= infantry

The bikers themselves are anti-infantry so it depends who you play if they use a lot of vehicles then the melta.

Oh yeah, i forgot about the bolters on the front of the bikes. Now what about a land speeder tornado?

haha I would, if I had IG. I was thinking more of Space Marine stuff ha. Although I do like the Caestus Assault Ram ad it is a Fast attack choice for all Space Marine armies

A land speeder squadron are handy for their deep strike and general awesomeness.

I think that sounds like a great idea. A squad would allow me to mix the weapon attachments so that i could have an anti tank and anti infantry land speeder squad of crazy killing. thank you very much. what is your opinion on assault marines? The assault squad comes in handy when playing enemies with skilled heroes, for back up and to increase your chances to wipe out a squad of whatever.

Assault Squads are bad, go with Typhoons instead if you want FA.

A new Codex.

All kidding aside; more troops, I count a possible 2 "10-man" squads with 5 full marines and 5 "scouts" each. While that is a good 2 CC units, you lack ranged. Also I would get another Rhino/razorback.

A CC-Squad with 8 Initiates, and 7 Neophytes in a LRC, and another 2 5-man squads in razors Would be a good start.

That sounds like a good strategy Kommissar Kel. I've also been wondering whether I should use lascannons or heavy bolters on the razorback. would one of each work? And unfortunately it sucks having the BT because the don't use a lot of range weaponry. But I can get away with adding a lascannon or 2 or maybe a plasma cannon into one of my squads, would that help my ranged stuff?

I would get another LRC or 2. you can never have too many of them.

Ya I'm starting to think that more of those would be nice, soe that i can get maximum firepower and transport capacity for my guys, once i get a few more.

Initiates with bolt pistols and chainswords. A few with bolters. A handful of heavy weapons to give yourself some options.

To be more precise:

A Meltagun and powerfist for your 10-man initiate squads running in rhinos (the rest with bolt pistols and chainswords).

A mini-dev squad: 3xBolters, 1 plasmagun, 1 missile launcher (or lascannon) for sitting on an objective or in cover is always fun and only about 100 points.

How many terminators do you have? What weapons do they have. A 5 or 6 man squad of terminators with 2x Cyclone Missile Launchers and Tank Hunters is aces in my book (for 2000 point games).

Run either 2 CMLs or 2 ACs, not much point to mixing weapon ranges. Techmarines are not worth the elite slot.

They're awesome, especially when they can get Furious Charge purchased as a veteran skill, but you really need more line infantry. I'm not terribly familiar with the BT codex, but it seems like your army is barely skirting legality. You need more initiates.

Ya I'm actually riding on the minimum ratio of Initiates to Neophytes, because I have to have at least matching numbers of the two. It looks like I have more stuff to buy and paint haha. Anymore suggestions?

two words......Assault terminators. In my mind they are one of the best units in the book. with furious charge and accept any challenge no matter the odds. your rerolling to hit and wound with I 5 and ST 5. Thats a hard hitting unit.
