So, I recently downloaded Team Fortress 2 for free on steam! Its a great game, and I was wondering if dakkadakka plays it too!

Favorite weapon: Sticky launcher, simply because of how ridiculously satisfying it is when one manages to spring a good trap with it and a whole string of kill messages pop up. Or even just one kill message, depending on the circumstances. Only chain backstabs are more satisfying, but "backstab" isn't a weapon, and there are multiple knives.
Favorite map: anything but Hydro.
Favorite server: haven't found one again yet. All the servers I used to play on are either gone or forgotten, since I haven't been able to play in almost two years due to a lack of an internet connection that could even connect to steam without it timing out and crashing. I've just been playing valve servers recently.

For some reason, Lotus Clan makes me seeth with anger, but I can't make myself remember why.....

Probably Mana's donator/autobalance/voting system. It's a total pain in the ass for non-donors.

If not then probably phantom and his hangers-on, whom hang around on Stocks 2 almost every night. Or Miyari, who used to be a very... erm... cantankerous member.

The other servers are usually perfectly fine though.

Fav. Map : 2Fort, it's classic. I spent many, many weeks of my life in college on that map in TFC.
Fav Server: Any of the Wonka Gaming ones.

Funny thing is that aside from a few minor tweaks I was able to slide right into this game. I played TFC competitively in [RTL] for two years in college. Not a ton has changed and what has changed is for the better. I like playing Engineer but I tend to do VERY well as a heavy. I go pyro when I just feel like being a complete and total pain in the ass. I will Medic if my team has none and I'm not an engineer.

Been playing since release almost, used to go to a server known as The O.C. which had some of the most frustratingly good scouts/spies I've ever seen.

That depends on the scout, but most scouts suck on defense in my experience. The good ones are good regardless.

I hate scouts because most of them suck, or they're really good and exceptionally annoying.

Only seen really good scout players do much in defense at all, otherwise they just seem to be chaff.
