We see a lot of best army, unit, build, etc, but I've been thinking about asking this for a bit now. What is the worst selection in the game (referring to the worst unit as a whole - with options, upgrades, special rules, etc. taken into account - in the army list section of the codices).

I guess "worst" can be interpreted kinda liberally, but generally: a selection that is just totally ineffective/not worth it/broken (in the sense of useless) for what it is supposed to be and do - one you would be better off replacing with a rock or piece of lint and would never in your right mind spend points on.

Aun'va is the only acceptable answer. Anyone who proposes a different answer hasn't looked closely enough at the Tau Codex.

These threads pop up all the time. We'd really get a much better debate if either the thread was "2nd most useless unit", or the Tau codex gets updated.

Aun'va costs more than a reasonably equipped Railhead, has the lowest possible WS, no ranged weapon, and when he dies, every Tau (not Kroot, Vespid, or Drone) unit must take a morale test. If they fail, they run off the board, if they pass, they gain useless close combat bonuses. Regular Ethereals are just as bad but at 1/4 of the price.
