Miranda from Mass Effect 2, honestly.
She comes off as an insufferable, emotionless bitch throughout the entire game which is completely focussed on the will of Cerberus, and then after the end of the game she starts scolding you for taking drastic action.

So on the left we see how being beta is actually really lame. And on the right we see an example of an alpha character that only a beta could have dreamt up. Yes, I realize they are "supporting" cast but give me a break. Also, DA:O may be the only video game in history to suffer from almost no positive male figures. I mean, there were Duncan and Cailan and the writer killed them off almost immediately leaving the PC with a psychopath murderer and a crude drunk -- plus the two jackanapes pictured above.

He is so annoying but arguably the best synergist in the game....which sucks because you end up having him in your party.

As I was reading this thread, a list of hated characters was running through my head. Then, this came along, and reminded me what true hatred actually is:

To be honest, most Final Fantasy characters are very bland and cookie cutter and ever since they added voice acting, it has sort of ruined it for me. I wanted to smash the crap outta Waka's face in FFX. He had that annoying surfer/stoner voice and he sucked. I never used him unless I had to because he annoyed me so much.
