Well, they're not exactly Golden Daemon quality, but I'm quite pleased with myself for getting a complete unit of 15 finished - no more adding 3 mekboys to fill them out!

nice but blue?Y BLUE? its not a very orky color

How many Space Marines does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

6, 1 techpriest and 5 tacticals that stand around trying to pose like badasses.

An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "Me thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.

They are deathskulls! The lootas are blue, just like badmoon are yellow, goffs are black and red with chess color.

Awesome painted models, I want to see the rest of the ork army if they match this. You've shown a lot of respect to the models and all the details.

Very nice Orks.

If the rest of your force looks like that, you will be the envy of many.

Here are a list of the Ork Clans. As Baxx said, they are Deathskulls, which consider blue to be a lucky color and paint their gear with it, get tattoos and facepaint with it, etc. Think Braveheart.

See for yourself!.

I'm strongly considering doing another 15 lootas at some point, after using them in a game. They're pretty badass, turns out.

Very nice paintjob, but really don't get the ultramarines symbol there, don't they repaint gear they've "Looted" ?

Either that piece came from a large UM vehicle that already had it on there, or they don't know what it means, or it's a trophy; pick whichever explanation you like the most. They'd all be accurate, fluffwise.

I'm diggin' these awesome Deff Skullz. I didn't know too much about Deff Skullz until recently, when my buddy Steven asked me to paint his Orks blue and silver. Upon looking into it, the Deff Skullz fit perfectly for me; I only wish my paint job looked as good as the ones on these lootas!

Nice Lootas! They are very, very well painted. That Ultramarine symbol is also just a little thing but adds a lot of character to your minis. Great job!

Very nice work on those lootas. They can be tough as they're so 3-dimensional you've got to pay close attention to everything.
