Who has the lowest gallery vote to post count ratio?

Really this is just the product of a rainy and quite tedious Saturday afternoon, and a bit of idle curiosity

Other than people with 0 votes (who perhaps don't visit the gallery or just don't feel inclined to vote) who has the lowest ratio?

Also, to find out about people's picture posting and voting habits.
- Do you visit the gallery section or not, and if so why?
- Do you post pictures yourself, and do you use the gallery for research purposes or just to look at the minis?
- Are there any guidelines that you try and follow regarding voting (only voting for certain categories etc.?)

Personally I have found it to be one of the best aspects of Dakka, and I have wasted many hours just clicking on the 'random image' button, there are some real gems hidden away on the database!

You can take a look at the member list and rank them by number of posts/messages. You'll probably get your answer by comparing the top 10-15 of them.

I don't post many pictures, myself, because I'm not a terribly productive painter or modeler. I spend most of my Dakka time in P&M, where I comment on models in their respective threads, without necessarily voting on the images shown therein. When I go to the gallery, I do it to browse random images more than to research something in particular. While I'm there, though, I make a point of voting and adding/editing image tags on pretty much everything I see.

So - I'd be willing to lay reasonable fair odds that at 9359.33/1 frazzled is a solid contender for the biggest ratio disparity - certainly amongst the big posters of the site (how many members even have over 9359 posts?).

And, as noted, nosferatu1001 could be the reigning and undisputed champ if he placed one vote.

Yakface himself is almost certainly king of the voters in my mind - his ratio is pretty low by any standards, but when you consider how many posts he has...wooosh!

I actually have more votes than posts so have a fairly high ratio. Unless I'm looking for something in particular I use the turbovoter and look at random stuff. But rank the images by painting score and coolness and you'll be blown away by some of the stuff in the gallery.

I often struggle to separate 'painting' from 'coolness' because well painted things generally do look cooler. Unpainted stuff gets '0' for painting obviously and I rarely give more than 5 or 6 for coolness unless it's really amazing because it's not super cool until it's painted IMO. I rarely comment on gallery images, I do occasionally but feel a bit awkward about having the score I've given it placed against my comment. Though I don't consider myself a harsh marker at all, I'm probably quite generous. I do have some images in the gallery myself but not so many.

I generally use "coolness" as a matter of the conversion work put into the model, its rarity, or exhibiting creativity. Just gluing together a Marine? Not cool. Doing an awesome conversion with a Rogue Trader-era Marine? Very cool.

So, we've got Frazzled at one end, with 9359 posts per vote and strategy fan at the other with 1 post per 4969 votes.

I'm a pretty prolific painter but don't upload a lot of stuff here and mostly just link it to my own photo album on smug mug. To me, I'd rather have the comments than votes but the days of me measuring the length of my painting penis w/ my score are in the past since I paint for speed more than quality most of the time.

It's to answer a theoretical question for the sake of knowing the answer.

Unless you think there is an actual argument to be made that either Gallery Votes or Forum Posts are more 'worthwhile' but we all know that isn't true...it's actually Article Edits that signify how good a poster someone is.

I like the way this thread turned- always love me some Dakka stats, and seeing the high ratio voters as well as the low is pretty cool!

I thought Kid_Kyoto would be top, and him and yak are up there... but EVil74ITA and strategy fan with 5k votes apiece and 0-1 posts is pretty insane!

I do a lot of gallery voting on my phone, and I just did an experiment and I don't think they count!

They actually do take a while to cycle through the system - in my experience somewhere around 5-7 days before it reflects on your stat bar.
