Subject: Funny 40k animation, but pretty well done
This is probably one of the best done 40k animations on YouTube. Not as good as Relic ones but hey...
I know that many of you saw this but I must ask something.
Many people say taht Fire Warrior here is the closest thin to a Fire Warrior in lore, what do you think?

Sadly, I cant see a fire warrior having the pure strength to lock swords with a freakn terminator. They have moters to move. Its like trying to stop a car.
They kinda failed when they stoped running. half of them died when they didn't look behind them. Those have got to be the sneekest DA ever!
Yeah, its the animation I thought it was. Saw it years ago.
That Fire Warrior is probably Shas'la Kais from the game/novel. Only because he goes all ninja and single handedly takes out a buncha DA and some terminators.
Not exactly like the fluff, but whatevs. People do like running their Ninja Tau builds after all

also, I saw this a long time ago too. Thats why you can't really compare it to any of the DOW animations.
That being said, it was all the work of one guy (as far as I know), so at least kudos to him on that part. He took his love for the hobby in a completely different form to the norm, and turned it into something.

Good animation, but no, just no...A Tau Fire Warrior defeating A Deathwing Terminator and a Sergent in close combat!? They don't even have power weapons!
On a person to person basis, no, Fire Warriors wouldn't be able to do that.
I don't think it's a stretch to say one turned himself into a glorious badass and got lucky in a termie fight though. It's always bothered me abit that in the novels the terminators are rather slow and lumbering, yet are masters at assault. Smaller armored dudes should be able to dodge a few blows, and the weapon glowing shows it's a power weapon, which a Tau could get no doubt after fighting other imperials, or from a rogue trader.
Sure, it's ridiculous, but not impossible, if anything their penchant for never assaulting would have helped them, as the Space Marines wouldn't have seen it coming.

Strength=power. If a terminator punched you, you'd probably be dead before you even saw the power fist.
Ever thought 40k would be a lot better with bears?

No doubt, but they're always being portrayed as slow, lumbering. We can't have rules based no size, but they'd have a much harder time hitting something small that simply because they swing with all the speed of an old woman.
Not only would it be able to do this, it would be able to do it on his first day too. Except the Terminator would have eaten a railgun blast to the face when he picked up the Firewarrior so it didn't get stabbed.

Sorry, but spelling hurt so much I stopped after a minute. If you can't even spell-check the text then what chance the graphics of being even half-decent ...
Don't care if English is not their first language. If I wrote something to be posted on line in a foreign language then I would check the spelling at the very least before posting. Poor show.

That was pretty awesome. Some really great animation. While nothing high end, there wasn't a single frame that I said "well this is really cheaply made" or "the movement looks really unnatural". Stellar. Though you guys are right, the spelling thing is awful.

Terminators might be slow at actually covering distance, but the background suggests that actually in close combat their arms, at least, easily move fast enough to actually fight. Otherwise they'd be nearly useless at fighting Genestealers in space hulks, rather than the best chance of doing so.
Besides, a Fire Warrior would never be able to lock blades with a Terminator, and the Astartes Sergeant saw the Fire Warrior coming and decided to walk towards him without defending himself. Nice.
But yeah, the animation is alright.

The graphics were good, the content was terribad.
1) No way a Tau is going to take out a terminator with his bonding knife. He stabbed him too far forward in the helmet, the head is much further back.
2) He moved WAY too fast. Tau have I2 people!

I love all those animations there great i think but the tau wouldnt have swords like that.

The only thing the terminators want to do is cut trees. and also a fire warrior wouldnt have a weapon to break through tactical DREADNAUGHT armour, and they cannot handle a weapon fo shee if they have to. That would not happen. The tau would not beat a space marine in combat, anyday.
