I'm a Sons of Corax man. Their fluff is pretty much awesome except for the final quote of the primarch which is...egh. I never really 'got' Dark Angels. They just seem weak and kinda pathetic. I love the monk robes though, that's awesome, everything else I could leave.

The DA fluff is badass when you go into it deeply. There is just something about them that makes them really freaking cool

Could you give me a brief rundown of the BadSmurfiness?

Basically they sorta dorked around during the Heresy trying to compete for 'least helpful Legion' ended up mostly killing themselves as some sort of odd cover up operation they refused to discuss how they had traitors (because, y'know, no other legion had trouble with that). And now they just run around trying to hide that they aren't totally loyal, and the current fluff even has them doing that to the point they're failing at missions which sort of reinforces their failure in loyalty to the Emperor and Imperium and I just don't 'get' it or why it's cool. They seem like lost children to me - I don't find that enticing as a backstory.

Well they are sort of like how the Inquisition are badass. They unrelentingly hunt a single foe and then use all resources available to kill them. They can basically control other chapters if a Fallen is concerned, like they did with the BT. The Interrogator Chaplains are basically more badass Chaplains and the basic marines wear robes. Robes made of solid awesome woven into clothing

Nothing said will change your picture of Dark Angels, I'll wager.
And that is fine...different strokes for different folks and all that.

Raven Guard, all the way.
Corax is boss. Colour schemes are awesome. Their modus operandi not only suits my own playstyle, but seems like a good use of resources, when you're one of a million of mankinds super-human warriors, you dont wanna go charging in recklessly. They're pragmatic and seek nothing but victory.

Their tenuous ties to Edgar Allen Poe's Quoth the Raven can be a bit silly, but whatever.

It's never really been fleshed out, beyond the E. A. Poe quote. (Horrible, horrible bit of fluff)

Also, I'm chucking my vote in for the DA seeing as they were losing ground to the RG.

DA seem like a boring version of blood angels with a less options/lamer codex.

i agree with the post earlier, the robes are the only cool/unique thing about them!

The DA definitely have a weaker codex then RG, but they are nothing like the BA except for the fact that they have Angels in their name

BT codex Crusade of the Ophidium Gulf basically a small crusade is derping about the galaxy, decides to help some DA, captures a Fallen, nearly gets blammed to death, gives the Fallen to the DA

Pretty much. Also according to the Codex, the BT ship in question has yet to make contact since the incident. Damn those DA and their dirty dirty secrets.

I've always gravitated towards Raven Guard more. Their paint scheme is a tad dull for my taste, but I love their fluff and tactics. Corax was quite interesting as well.
