here are a few that I am working on. Not much of a photographer though, but I think I got my colors fairly close. Any tips on that would help.

Woah, very nicely done. I'd like to see more varied terrain in the bases of the World Eaters other than just rocks, but the painting is absolutely superb. Those Ultramarines... wow.

Wow. Beautiful job there sir. The colours are spot on, really crisp and smooth and I really cannot find fault with them. Love the old-school green on the bases too; brilliant job all round.
Am I right in thinking that's the FW World Eater kit?

Overall they are very nicely painted. It looks like you're using the washes, but they arent pooling very well. The middle ultramarines right arm is excellent and in contrast the right leg looks somewhat odd. If you were to use a glaze instead you could have more control and it would look much better. Otherwise everything looks very good.

The models look very nice (and better than anything I could do). The only suggestion I could make is to maybe make the skulls on the bolters stand out a bit more. The fig itself has lots of color and highlights but the bolter seems a bit bland comparatively.

sure.
I used Vallejo colors but there is a conversion chart here on the forums.
ultramarine blue
then a devlan mud wash all over
drybrush with ultramarine blue
then electric blue highlights
steel grey final high highlight

mechrite red basecoat.
then devlan mud wash all over
then mechrite red drybrush
bloody red (Vallejo) drybrush and highlight
plague brown high highlight.

it doesnt look like it from the pictures, but this combo of colors makes the red look old and faded.

These are absolutely gorgeous, especially the berzerkers.

My only complaint is the base rims - that oldschool green really should have died out by now imho and it's really quite jarring with a grey stone base

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

REALLY well painted miniatures. How did you do the red armour for the Berzerkers? I really want to know how to make vibrant red like that

Absolutelty beautiful models! Your colours are so deep and lush yet vibrant enough to give real life. I'm not much a fan of most Ultramarine schemes; yours is perfect.

Great job all around! If you really want to go old-school, you might consider red trim on the bolters.
