What game would you make/re-make?
For any reason what so ever, maybe there was a game you were really disappointed with, a game that was never made etc.
Reasons would be good as well.

I would make a Buffy game, there was only one or two made, and were talking about 10 or so years ago, so they weren't exactly ever going to be great.
I think it could have a lot of potential, play through the game in various ways, you could be the slayer, or the watcher, or Spike/Angel etc. Would be a mix of action/adventure and horror. I think if a Buffy game was made today, it would be pretty good... But thats obviously not going to happen :( Maybe a Supernatural game

P.S Sorry if there is already a thread like this one....

I myself would take components of other games an combine them together, may seem cheap but I feel they would work well together.

I can't remember what parts exactly off hand atm, but I will remember at some point haha.

When the rich rage war it's the poor who die

Armies I have: Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Necrons, High Elves

Armies I want:Lizardmen, Warriors Of Chaos, Dark Eldar

Pretty much every game that consoles ruined (ie every game published on consoles) but if I limit myself to a game from 2011 I would pick Dead Island.
-more zombies (no more suffering from silly memory limitations)
-better lod (this is so bad that it is glitchy)
-removal act 3 and 4 (and replacing it with something better)
-aimbot away (I can aim by myself thank you)
-no special zombies (what is this l4d?)
-various game balance fixes
-mod tools

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

For those of you unfamiliar with MoM. Take Civ 2, put in a fantasy setting, races with different abilities, and a magic system and you have MoM. Great game that deserved a sequel but for whatever reason, hasn't gotten one.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

I'd probably choose Godzilla: Unleashed to re-design. I love Kaiju games and I love brawlers or the occasional wrestling game, so G:U should really appeal to me. Unfortunately, the game sports low production values, antiquated design choices and a general feel that the developers phoned the effort in. Given my druthers, I'd work out a faster paced, casual friendly Kaiju brawler with controls that trace their lineage to AKI's old WCW games (or EA's excellent Def Jam: Fight for New York). Make the interaction with the environment more organic and natural (falling through buildings, throwing one another into hazards like open lava beds or high tension wires), but over the top enough to leave a strong impression with players. Design the animations and engine in a way that really makes every attack feel like it came from a towering monster, not a poorly rendered run of the mill fighting game character. Finally, populate the game with a shed of monsters drawn from Toho's considerable Kaiju catalog, complete with the sounds and effects that fans of the franchise will appreciate.

Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

Road Rash.

Make it 3-D, add more characterisation, allow folks to create and name their character.

Have an over the top cast of rival bikers, with the ability for the AI to remember you for knocking them down., possible some kind of friend/foe meter so folks could become allies and enemies on the track.

More tracks.

A good soundtrack, and generally bring it to modern presentation levels.

For some bizarre reason EA thinks Road Rash isn't worth a look in, I think it'd be massive if done right. Shame really.

Make Duke Nukem Forever in such a way that it doesn't suck.

It already doesn't suck. It's a good game, but it deserved to be the best game of the decade.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I would make them release Halo Reach on PC at the same time as it was released on 360.

A proper Oddworld Inhabitants developed oddworld game.

Soul Reaver 2 but good. It had a great story and some decent puzzles but horrible combat and a load of sketchy platforming.
Come on Crystal D Show those Darksiders dewds how to rock a Zelda clone.

Also, a Rogue Trader game based off of Mass Effect's gameplay.

An Imperial Guard game based off of Rainbow 6 Vegas 2's gameplay.

A 40k Epic/Armageddon game based off of the SupCom:FA gameplay.

Why not? Sure it has its flaws because it tried to be too much like medal of duty/call of honor/halo/etc, but it's still a fun, varied game.

Give this man a job Relic!

"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. Enjoy tentacle-rape, Kirk, we know Sulu will." -Terminus

Hmm i was approaching this as a question of 'If you had the money to fund it' rather than an Ideal game.

I would want a free form game siimilar to skyrim but not very fantastical just medievel, with some light horror. It would also focus on realism with food/water and shelter being important and one hit kills etc and things like getting the plague or VD.

You could look for trouble; joining wars, joining/supressing rebellions or you could just try and stay out of it a la minecraft survival.

The game would not have an overarching story, but have plenty of background material to hunt down/find out from NPCs. You could become a rich powerful dude but with that would come a dramtically increased chance of dying and losing everything.
