All this kid is getting is a scholarship at that little piece of crap university? This kid is insanely smart. There's no reason for him not to go to the best schools available in the country.

Many college professors, especially at major research universities, don't like teaching well adapted 18 year olds.
I doubt many would willingly put up with an autistic 13 year old. I know for a fact that, were I teaching, that I wouldn't agree to it.

My brother has really bad autism, asbergers side of it, and IMO they have done the wrong thing. They have allowed him to move too fast and have given in to his autistic ways. He's gonna burn out or have a breakdown.

I have a niece that has asbergers and she isnt one of the prodigy types, but she is uncannily observant, and shes 8. She told my brother the other day, that her brothers bedroom has higher ceilings and therefore wanted to switch rooms so her bunkbeds would fit in there better. My brother said "nope they are the same height kiddo" and argument ensued and so to prover her wrong, he got the tape measure out. And found out she was right, the ceiling was just over 3 inches taller. And shes done things like that MANY times in the past.

Almost none are. Children (and adults) are often obsessed with a specific subject, but that isn't the same as being a prodigy, or even good at it. Unless you are talking about "Rain Man"-like tricks with math and the like, but that isn't really a prodigy either, but a savant.

Really. The doctor thought he was brain damaged. Had an MRI and stuff. Then they cleared him of it and diagnosed him with severe asbergers. He is now home schooled because teachers couldn't cope with him.

I still doubt that, unless he has Autism I doubt he really thought that, unless he's not a good doctor.

Yea, Im agreeing with Corpses on this one. Your now probably #3 on my ignore list. That was almost as douchey as it was offensive.

I've meet someone with Aspergus higher (it's not that high) than mine, he's very arrogant and brags about allot of things, it's not major Aspergus but he's very competitive on Xboxlive and lies to try and impress me, he's igronant of his actions online and at times makes comments he really shouldn't.

he has what appears to be infinite memory. He remembers things from his infancy that he was never told. He loves movies, and since a child has reenacted films with his toys, line for line. It's just, I have lived with him for nearly 15 years. He and I joke and laugh about it all the time, it DOES have a funny name afterall. Guess I'm just comfortable about it, and he's my brother and I love him for who he is. For what it is worth, I am sorry if the smilies were taken the wrong way. I guess people can be a bit touchy about these things.

You don't know him. And you don't know my family. Me, him and my father make the best of a bad situation and always see the brighter side. He wasn't brain damaged, that was good. So we laugh it off. He and I are very close, we insult one another and tease one another constantly, but it isn't like we mean it.
Anyway, once again the thread has derailed whenever I post, carry on with whatever it was you were discussing and let us just drop it, lest another thread gets locked.
