Hello dakka dakka The epic battle for tanith has occured On my home tabletop I fielded A 50,000 POINT army of the tanith first and only against the corrupting forces of chaos The battle was bitter with half my scouts being wiped out within the first 2 turns *Darn those chaos dreadnoughts* But my Stormtroopers saved the day swooping in and Pinning the enemy HQ units long enough to draw the enemy towards them before finishing them off * they knew what they signed up for* but some how the valient squad broke though the cultists like the emporor himself *no heresy intended* Making a gap for IBRAM GAUNT and his brave ghosts to sneak larkin and Mkoll behind the lines while Larkin Hammered away at the chaos Havoc squads *i got really lucky with my dice not a single shot missed or failed to wound* Mkoll was slamming melta charges silently against all the vehicles he could get to * he single handedly got 3 weapon destroyed resulst 2 immobilised results and 6 Vehicle destroyed results* MY vast armour regiments then Pounded the advancing lines of chaos marines into dust * 3+ armour save against that haha!!* but only after destroying all of their infantry and armour did i face the real challenge THREE chaos daemons I know right They wiped out almost all my guardsmen only survivors were a psyker squad and the ghosts and about 3 leman russ tanks and my shadowsword baneblade *this is when i began to contemplate defeat* But my tanith pulled though by the skin of their teeth on with the ghosts and my baneblade being the only survivors post battle BUT A TANITH VICTORY IT WAS. WE FIGHT IN HIS NAME.

Come off it kid, no one makes that much money on a paper route! If it's any comfort to you, most people who do own that much warhammer are pretty sad, so just enjoy playing with what you have. When you're older you will realise how silly it is to imagine that warhammer becomes proportionally better with more models.

Sweet report. Reminds me of the time my 50,000 points of biker squats took down my friend's 100,000p Zoat army.

In all seriousness I would like to see a 50,000 point IG army though. The majesty of the force would be mind-blowing, to be sure.

Also, at 25 you should probably think about getting a cellphone, maybe sell 1000p or so to finance it (and join us in the 21st century). Or get your wealthy parents to buy you one? If they can afford to buy you 50,000p of models I hardly think a <100$ for a camera-equipped cellphone would be out of the realm of possibility.

@ OP: How many models do you have? Are they all painted?

If so, that's incredible. I commend you on painting 5000+ models in 5 years. Did you get any time to sleep or eat?

Heck, building that many models would take 5 years.

Edit: Oh, and It's okay. I don't have a cell phone either.

My point exactly. You could line your whole room with models! Like wallpaper, just more interesting. It would be a beautiful thing to see.

Is not having a cellphone a canadian thing? I suppose I could imagine not having one if I lived in an isolated place...maybe I was just making the (wrong) assumption that you lived in the city?
