I'm on PS3 too, Soulbreaker13. As with mega_bassist, though, I'm mostly on Battlefield 3 these days. Helicopters ftw.

I havnt played it in a few months, I tried it tonight, and 1, realized I deleted EVERYTHING (I was near lvl 41) and 2. Im so damn rusty I just suck

Pfff, exterminatus just annoys the hell out of me. It goes from easy, to watch yourself, to no fething way with this groupBWAHAHAHAHA.

yeah the bonus level on Exterminatus... WTF?! Six hits from a thunder hammer should have an effect, right? Whatever the game has its flaws.
I thought it would be fun to play with people who are familiar with the tabletop game. Have you seen what they did to the Corvus helmet? Nose is shortened and pointed too far down just to make it fit inside the Errant collar... which it just doesn't work with, as all SM tabletoppers know!

anyone know the cheapest wireless router/adapter whatever for xbox? I heard there's an 'N' and a 'G'... one is more expensive? does it give better performance?

I know feth all about routers. I have AT&T Uverse, and it comes with this crazy wireless for the internet AND the tv receivers, and all I know, is that the wife and I can both play WOW (she has a laptop) or be downloading things, and we never experience lag on either end. So, my advice will be go AT&T

Admittedly, Ive been playing space marine the last few days. Im SLOWLY getting my edge back, but sadly still, Im landing in the tops of my groups for some reason. I think Im playing like a complete ass, but apparently not as bad as most others

its pretty back and forth, you'll run across a group of guys once in a while that just stomp everyone, then the next game will be all easy kills. That's most of why I want more friends, so we can be the big killy group

And no, no I havnt, Ive gotten close a couple times, but just couldnt fething pull it off. I think they made exterminatus to fething difficult towards the end. Im sorry but when you need 6-8 point plank meltagun blasts to down something, your doing it wrong. I mean, your telling me, I can blow a hole clean through a LR with one shot, but not this Nob? Not happening, no way

yeah Exterminatus bonus wave is ridiculous, thats why you need friends to coordinate strategy, instead of just random nobody's not watching each other's backs. Still a fun game, even if it changes difficulty suddenly and steeply.

Anyone want to play some Exterminatus later tonight? I got a mike if that changes anything.

Which maps do you use? I have all the DLC but if we're just doing Ext. it doesn't matter to me.

I'll probably play around 7:30 or so, Pacific time. I haven't really bought any of the DLC maps yet, so it'd just be the regular stuff. What's the Dreadnought expansion about?

the two teams run for a single strategic location. Whichever team captures the spot first spawns a Dread. The dread is apparently controlled by the team member who spent the most time capturing the spot. Its armed with an assault cannon, powerfist, and melta (in place of the usual storm bolter under the 'fist). Its only really fun in private, as public matches are pretty uneven skill-wise.

That could be fun. Btw, I'll probably be on at 7:45-8:00. Had some slight changes.

hahaha I'm a jackass Talking crap to Virx between rounds, I spent too much time messaging and joined the next round late, picked tactical by mistake being hasty. Turns out I do alright with a bolter, as long as I ruthlessly steal ammo from teammates!
I only died once, and it was during the (i think) final wave of Orks, so not bad.
Thanks for showing me the effectiveness of the Devastator's stomp, Virx, that really clears a crowd of greenskins quickly.

Gah, sorry I missed last night; wednesday is my "bar night" and I didn't check Dakka Dakka at all lol...I should be online tomorrow around 9:00 Central...Hopefully I'll see you guys online!

Scambone, we should definitely do that again. We totally should have been able to get past wave 18. Next time just focus on the objective and we'll be able to geb to wave 21 easy. Mega, would that be around 7:00 pm pacific time? If so, I'd be up for a couple rounds of exterminatus.
