Yeah that was a lot of fun. That last triple point capture wave is pretty tough... but we could have beat it if I had more time. I had to quit and eat dinner or my girlfriend would have dumped it in my lap. I at least check my friend list/messages, so I'll try to join in future dakka-games

we did original last time, which is fine by me. Virx's headset was dead so we played silent, but yeah I finally want a mic. so I can talk to you fine folks.

UPDATE - I won't be on Friday night after all. My girlfriend doesn't have to work like she thought, and since we don't get to see each other a lot (stupid overnight shifts), we're having a date night haha. Ive been playing alot lately, trying to brush up on my online shooter skills so Im not a total slouch when I get BF3 for the xbox. Slowly getting there, I hit a kill streak of x6 tonight. Yea me!

nice! That's probably about my best streak too. Sucks that PS3 and 360 controllers are so different... be ready for frustration when you switch. Always takes me like half an hour to get reacquainted with one system after playing the other for awhile.
Looks like no SM for me tonight, got a new netflix disc. Hope to see some dakkanaughts tomorrow!

Ive been trying to work on making the vengence launcher work. Its not going to well. So far my best run, is I killed 6 people with it in one match

I refuse to use it myself. What's a vengeance launcher? I don't see one in my Devastator kit

I have it on the ps3. I dont have any of the dlc. Been kind of nervous to put a card in my account after psn got hacked. But SM is a fun game. Its a shame people dont play it as much.

I too have 0 DLC on the game. Speaking of, is the capture the flag a DLC of some kind? Because I click on it, and it says its looking for games, but no matter how long I let it sit (more like until my patience runs out) it stays at 0 and does nothing. So whats the deal there?

There are like less than 100 people playing the game. I can only find four games of the domination type missions, and Scambone and I waited like five minutes before we found anyone else for Exterminatus. Plus there has been an increase in hackers, or game modes don't work right. It was fun while it lasted, but I don't see it lasting any longer than six months to a year.

yeah low player count is the main problem. Also I don't know if its hax or if people are really just THAT much better than me. I've seen guys end matches with 20+/0 kill ratio, and they were on my team and we were getting our butts stomped... doesn't add up.
Capture the flag didn't appeal to me... I didn't last half a second when I had either flag in hand.
I don't want to give up on it yet, but need some good people playing to make it worthwhile.

Ah, who am I kidding? I get to choose a Mk of power armor, paint it in my Chapter's colors, and carry most of the weapons in the SM arsenal into battle: I still love the game. Nothing since the old Space Hulk pc games has the same 'I AM a space marine' feel. I'm hoping it gets a sequel... with vehicles!

Yea isnt that the friggin truth. I get rather sick of people using auto aim or my personal least favorite, the one that keeps them from dying out right. I couldnt tell you how many times Ive melta blasted people point blank, and then pump a few kracken rounds into their chests, and they still run off and kill me, and usually another team mate before going down. Ill see their health when I do die, and they have like 3% left

It makes me sad, really it does. I had a blast leveling up through the ranks with a friend, and exterminatus is still fun. I just don't see why people need to hack to raise thier self esteem level. Whatever. Nobodies hacked Exterminatus from what I can tell; that's where I'll be spending most of my time anyways.

Im used to it, ever play TF2 on the PS3? Holy fething hell. It got so bad, thats the reason I stopped playing it. The funny thing is though, it would take hackers forEVER to kill me, even hacking. fething slouches. It was good fun PMing them and bashing how terrible their skills were. Regular exterminatus is free. Chaos version is dlc i think. Actually a lot of fun to see guardsmen kick some ass. Kasrkin are tough!

Oh man, they eventually move up to Kasrkins??? I've gotten up to fighting Space Marines, regular IG, and Saegeants with chain swords, but that's it...but I've only played the Chaos Unleashed a few times

you probably saw them... I don't know my guard units that well, maybe they're just helmeted regular infantry. They have the gas masks with red lenses and carry meltas.

Ah, haven't seen the melta IG yet...Man, I really want to play now haha

We should get another dakka-match going, that was pretty fun last time. I'll at least check in tonight, feel free to message me if I'm not on yet. Still gotta get those 30 killstreaks for the bolter targetter!
