I will start off saying, I only like Black Legions because of Captain Slaughter.

Black legion for me, I really like the idea of chaos undivided. Plus black and gold and silver look really good to my eye. Not the easiest to paint and make "pop"

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Night Lords and Thousand sons are a close joint second, but Word Bearers have to be number one.
They get stuff done for the Dark Gods. Lorgar may sit in his tower but they did so much and should be the cover boys for Chaos imho.
Colour scheme is ace too.
