Looking at it right now. Nice, but to me it doesn't come close to Banff, Lake Louise, or any skyline with the Rockies in them.
Regardless, a wasteland can be quite beautiful, under the right light. And there's no shortage of barren land up here in the North. And the comment was not meant to be serious.

I admit that I like a good number of Nickleback songs, and just don't care about the others-- can't be bothered to hate them, they're just mediocre songs that have been overexposed and would have been just fine if they weren't played so much.

Personally, if I had to make a choice, I'd rather listen to music from a wide variety of artists. Anything from Malcolm Brown to EbonHawk7x to Meggie Fox to Bonnie Tyler to Social Distortion to Bush to Rinatan to Metallica to Shelby Cragg to Kurimja to Feeder to Deftones to Rhapsody of Fire to Dragonforce to Nightwish to Aldo Nova to the Vocaloid series to Evanescence... to, well, any one of the dozens and dozens of artists, both obscure and famous, that I listen to.
All I'm saying is I don't mind if a Nickelback song comes on every once in a while. I certainly wouldn't want to just pop a Nickelback cd in and listen to it non-stop, but I could say that for any of those artists. Except maybe Rhapsody of Fire or Nightwish.
