Why do all of you fools fight in the name of stupidity? The imperium treats you like you're a slave which in a sense you are. Why not help unleash chaos to the galaxy and watch it change it's form from a gigantic war zone to a new expanse of the warp? so tell me... why himanitu? Why the emperor? Don't you see there's no point in fighting?

Why would you want the warp to expand into the material world, when the warp is the equivalent to HELL.

Um, because everyone will die if we throw down our weapons.

DERPITY DERP, if the IoM surrenders to Chaos (impossible), the Eldar, Dark Eldar, Necrons, Tau, Tyranids, etc. don't care. Tyranids eat everyone. Demons stab backs, perpetual warfare on a greater scale. And being in Chaos sucks too.

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

Do you actually intend to make a valid discussion out of this topic? Because from were I see it, you are either A: trolling, or B: being unnecessarily childish.

So which of the two is it?

The Imperium stands as the only bulwark for Human to rally to.

The Tau wish to convert us.
The Eldar wish to control us.
The Forces of Chaos wish to enslave us.
The Dark Eldar wish to sacrifice us.
The Orks wish to fell us.
The Tyranids wish to consume us.
The Necorons wish to eradicate us.

Listen not to the lies of the heretic brothers! The Imperium at times must take desperate action to insure the dominance of mankind!

For Emperor and Imperium, fight on!

Lol I'm not trolling I really want to know why the dakkanauts serve humanity. I used to be a SM player but then I found out that the government were over the top in making you their beyatch for lack of a better word. I fell to chaos because I do what I want when I want. Raiding helpess worlds, worshipping he who thirsts (thx for the gifts slaanesh (+1 in) ), and of course doing battle with claw handed daemonettes.

Honestly what's so good about serving people who don't appreciate you when you can serve chaos and have a front seat in hell?

Servant of a Chaos god that mutates you seems better than serving other humans?

Pretty confused, aren't you.

Oh, oops. Couldn't tell if the question was directed at me or him/her/it. With being on the Heretic side, you have to constantly attack/ kill things without rest. Sure, you get loot, but you don't have any comrades. Your squad-mates are just there for the loot just like you.

Don't get me wrong, I love Blood Gorgons, but this doesn't make the slightest sense. For one thing, who the heck would the IoM surrender to?

Servant of humans that care nothing of you or your sacrifices as you contribute to a cause that is futile? I understand the final stand concept where there's honor in fighting to the end as a loyal soldier but at the same time you will not be remembered, you fight for an empire that gives you no freedom, that is corrupt (high lords of terra) and that the emperor you serve will eventually crumble?

Sorry, but servants of chaos are even less cared for. If you were arguing for like...Dark Eldar or Corsairs, it'd be one thing; but chaos is basically a more mean, less caring, more corrupt version of the imperium. At least SOMEONE in the imperium is in charge of keeping you fed and armed. In service to chaos, you have to scrape away to survive.

This just seems like a massive troll thread. No one talks like that.

Being a peon and working 16 hour days in the Imperium is a sucky lot in life, but not as bad as being turned inside out, growing a cancerous mutation and/or being eaten alive on a Daemon World, or having to become one of Firefly's Reavers just to keep on top. Meaning that you are doing the eating.

Watch Event Horizon. Life wouldn't exactly be all that grand having to spend it like that crew. And on a Daemon World, life might be damn near an eternity of suffering.

Because even if the current Imperium is just a twisted parody of what it once was and could have been, it remains Mankind's only hope for survival and a chance for the future.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.'
