Hi guys,

Seems that im gonna have a new army (again). This time it's 2nd company of Dark Angels aka Ravenwing.
I know its bit underperforming army now, but im full of faith considering that next DA codex.
And these bikes really look great and are fun to paint

Theme for bases is ruined cityscape. Lots of mud, skulls and scrapmetal.

Oh... my usually wintery cityscape will be used on these photos when i get it back.
My local game store needed it for the DV launch

Nice job.

They're looking great. How do you like the performance of the plasma guns on the bikers? I can't decide between plasma and melta for mine.

I took plasma for 2 reasons: it has better range than melta and i dont want to cc with these bikers (if possible).
Other reason is termies. They are more difficult to kill after powersword nerf so one plasmagun has potential
of killing two terminators. Plan is to manover around the enemy and shoot like hell

I really like what you have one with the gold and white wings ont eh front, as well as the plasma lighting on the bikes. f rumors are correct I think DA have some sort of plasma training or something so they can re-roll gets hot saves? Maybe that not right but w/e.

Either way, I have always been a fan of RW and have a few of my own to accompany my DW termies. Can't wait to see some attack bikes and more speeders.

Are you going to make an apothecary at some point too?

I heared that plasma rumor too and i hope its true. I also hearded that DA
will have at least 3 units never seen before, not including special characters.

Well anyways there will be more bikes, speeders and Attackbikes for sure as well as apothecary.

Okey i know this is not actually part of my Ravenwing, but ill just post it here.
(well im planning to use these in larger 2000+ games only)

Deathwing terminator sergeant.


I have never liked that bone colored terminator armor so i decided to go black on these too.
At least they are now in line with my Ravenwing bikers.

Black was their original color anyways. Yes?

Love the semi-rust color on the engine parts. Very nice, and the Drilled Out plasma looks great!

Sammael, Master of the Ravenwing.

That streetlamp is there for reason. Its really easy to move Sammy around battleboard from it




I had to change his Raven sword for plastic one. Original was not so finecasted :(

Dark Vengeance conversion. Librarian and Interrogator-chaplain on Bike


Libby was pretty straight forward conversion. Nothing special really. I like his pose very much.


Now this chaplain was totally different story. His bike was build from CSM bike with lots of DA parts ofc.
It took few tries to get his pose right,


His left arm particularly was pain in the...


Im not too happy with his cloak but its the thing that keeps this chap together I think ill try to fix it later (yeah right...)


That Interrogator-Chaplain has some Judge Dreddish look dont you think?
