Well now I am just a sad little man.

I took the pics and sent them to PP but, but, but. I was so ready to build it.

Think they will just send out the pieces or a new Conquest?

Depending on how much is missing. That expensive of a kit they will send the parts.

it would be a complete waist if they sent out a whole new one.

PP is pretty good about the sending the right parts with a kit gets mispacked. They certainly aren't going to send in a whole new kit.

That said it takes some time, it'll probably take ~2 weeks for you to get them. What you hit isn't uncommon as I understand it the first run of colossal had some QA issues with regard to getting everything in the boxes.

I'm OK waiting that long, and at least I didn't open it and find a Stormwall.

What parts are you missing out of curiosity?

Missing the part that connects the legs to the torso. The inner part of the hands and the small rocket looking things that go on the sides of the main cannons.

I'm the unlucky again. Just skated 3 weeks for my doom travers and opened the box to find two swords broken. Called PP and they are sending out new ones so at least that's good

The Doom reaver swords are terrible, super small handle on a huge sword is a bad idea. Thats a pretty common issue wuth these guys.

Yep. It was just such a let down after waiting 3 weeks for the little devils to show up.

Huh. Haven't had a problem with Reaver swords yet myself. I've purchased one unit of them and bitz ordered an additional six swords and none have been bent or broken.

It happens, most likely they were broken in transit (they're not packed particularly well in the box).

Stuff happens. I have had bad stuff in the box from GW too. its all good and the companies always take care of it, Just a nuisance when it happens. Especially when your all excited and ready to put em together

Indeed. PP has a particular problem with their spears. I'm waiting for the day when they give up on pewter/plastic spears and just have the figs come with pre-drilled hands and spear tips and cut lengths of brass rod.

Wouldn't that be nice.......

On a bright note. my trouble ticket moved from submitted to in progress today, so at least i have that going for me...

They always go to in progress the next day. It a question of how long it takes to go to shipped. Sometimes a day or two. Sometimes a week or two.

I tried pinning the arms of my mountain king, and broke my drill bit... lol... I was a little surprised at that...

It was a Tamyia drill bit...

I've had my army painter drill for a few years and its worked well.

I have been using drill bits for ultra thin wiring from the hardware store. They have never broken or dulled. Plus they are like a buck a piece.

Just do it yourself! I haven't gotten a close up look of the reaver models, but it sounds like pinning is the perfect answer if they have big swords. I have a ton of pinned weapons.

As for spears and banners I have replaced quite a few with brass or plastic rod. Harbinger, Stormblade UA, stormlances, etc. Also did a scaverous conversion and a satyxis UA conversion where I used brass and plastic rods for weapon shafts. I probably should've done that to my plastic pDenny, but didn't.

Oh, I Do do it myself already. I just really wish they came premade for it since it's almost mandatory given how soft their metal is.

So I got a package in the mail today from PP to my delight the missing pieces of my conquest were there.......

Sadly the replacement doom reaver leader was broken...... So I called and another is on the way. See, this is why I can't have nice things.

So I sat down and assembled my Conquest. Between washing off the mold release, fixing resin flash and huge pieces of resin on all the parts, having to cut down the nubs to fit together, fixing bubbles and removing mold lines, It has only taken me 5 hours to get to the priming stage.

Man I am worn out, but happily so.

Congratulations on living up to the challenge of the build.

I am looking forward to photos.

I'll have a pics up of painting it in a few days. It's out in the garage right now, just applied the primer.

Wow,that sounds harsh. I didn't have to spend nearly that much time on mine. You concerned at all about the big resin pieces being hollow? I know it worries me that they might get too hot and implode or something.
