Question Time: Who's your favourite Primarch (Remember to add why)
Mine: Horus...Pre Heresy he was a total badass, He wa skind and humorous.
Even when corrupted by Chaos he was Badass enough to take on the Emperor and his Imperium.

I chose Magnus because his story was incredibly sad. I felt he was duped into Chaos instead of actually succumbing to the Dark Gods like the other traitor Primarchs. To me that makes him the most interesting and that's why I picked him.

Yeah, Horus sending the Space Wolves to pillage was a pretty dick move.
Overall It was the Emperors fault for the Heresy.
If he let the Word bearers Worship him they wouldn't have rebelled.
If The Thousand Sons were allowed to use magic, They wouldn't have turned to Tzeentch.

Magnus because he was probably the most intelligent and least corrupt. Too bad about how things turn out thought.
Alpharius would be #2 just because him and his legion are such an enigma.

I dunno on Horus and Magnus. I really like their preheresy fluff and personas. But then when I look back, they're both flawed pawns of Chaos who end up selling out on all their ideals to experience the most profound regret and guilt/shame possible. That's not really very inspiring.
Dorn and RG really are admirable figures, and its just hard for me to not like Russ too. They are either the truest of sons or the most successful of pawns.

Fulgrim, not because he's a particulary interesting or complex character, but because he's the most entertaining. The man punched a Wraithord to death, strangled an Avatar like it was a god damn belligerent wife, shattered Ferrus Mannus' spine by golf-putting him in the face with a warhammer, Eddard Stark'd Ferrus Mannus' head off, and slit the throat of Roubute fething Guilliman, leader of the Ultrastu's. How can anyone not like Fulgrum. He's a fratboy, playboy dudebro, and has two Primarchs on his list of ass whoopings. His glory as a fictional character is second only to Prince Yriel, who's basically the hero of 40K.

Leman Russ for me. I like the idea of a viking god (I know he isnt a god but its a figure of speech) Also the fact that marched into the eye of terror after the emperor died because he couldn't make it to the final battle. Add in the fact he had awesome pet wolves and you have a pretty damn cool primarch.

I put down 5 of them (should have added Magnus)
In no particular order: Konrad Curze (liked him pre-heresy), Perturabo (i didn't like Dorn, in the end Perturabo and his legion appeared more successful even though they failed the siege of Terra), Alpharius/Omegon (mysterious, interesting character(s)), Leman Russ (dunno, cool).
I also put Ferrus Manus, but I wish he accomplished more. I do like his legion a lot, however.

Alpharius Omegon, Konrad Curze, Corvus Corax, and Perturabo all have their individual quirks that I really take a liking to but they all seem to have two qualities I really like: they don't seem to be afraid to pull all the stops from the get go (Screw escalation, go all out from start to finish), and their individuality and independent thinking.

9 spoilt Primarchs weren't happy with the status-quo and went off pubescening against daddy.
8 lickspittle Primarchs brown-nosed up to daddy and tried to turn back time.
Only 1 Primarch was actually able to move beyond the petty quarrels and think of something new, original and viable to move forward.
Roboute Guilliman.

I didn't think Russ would be that popular to be honest, I know Space Wolves are but I thought the likes of Sanguinius and Kurze would be a lot higher.

Note that it was Roboute who caused and perpetuated a great deal of those petty squabbles in the first place.
Also note that of the primarchs the turned traitor, Alpharius Omegon did it to save humanity, Magnus did it because his loyalist brother burned down him home and library after Magnus warned the Emperor of the betrayal, and Kurze did it because he could see what this 'new, original and viable' thing of Roboute's was going to become.
My favourite would be Omegon by the way, though I also like Fulgrim because his insecurity is familiar to me.

Alpharius Omegon.
They're the Chaos (or are they?) version of CREEEEED! so what's not to like?
Plus, there's not really any definitive proof that Alpharius was killed, since A) Everyone is Alpharius, and 2) Omegon. So, he may be the only Primarch still in commision of their Legion/Chapter, since all the Loyalists are dead and/or dying and/or missing, and the Traitor Primarchs became Daemons or were killed.

Russ because while all the others moan about destroying cultures he and his pack are quite happy to drop a moon onto a planet, space wolves get the job done no matter the cost.
People always forget the wolves want you to see them as barbarians because that'll lead them to under estimate their strengths.

Alpha legion isn't trying to save humanity, they're trying to sacrifice it to destroy Chaos. We know one of the two Primarchs is dead since the other abandoned the cause to payback the Imperium for that death. Now they're just self righteous spooks that are more obsessed with the game than the cause.
